I wonder if money just burns a hole in these people's pockets. Since they probably don't have to do much budgeting for monthly bills and have no clue about saving for the future, they just see a nice amount of money in their bank account and spend it on travel or ATVs or some other whim. Construction can be an up and down field depending on economic conditions, so they could find themselves in financial trouble down the road.
But they did learn about bankruptcy, so I would think they also have learned about money management. But maybe the were taught that the Umbrella managed the money, so no worries. On the other hand, why learn about bankruptcy if someone else is in charge of the finances. None of the rules this family practices makes any sense. I have no idea why they can travel so much without an apparent income.

She said they noticed it because of all of the videos and pictures they have been taking recently.
That is how my parents noticed my crossed eye when I was little. I wore glasses when I was two, and it was corrected. I'm glad they are paying attention to their baby.

I doubt Joy understands germs and cleanliness. Her brothers were shown on TV cleaning the cat box with their bare hands. (This was the episode where Michelle stuffed new born kittens in a pitcher with a lid and said she learned to do that at the vet's office where she used to work in high school. Something about it keeps the kittens warm).

I wonder what body part will be "severely" injured when she earns the invitation to the next cruise. She hasn't shown or posted about the ebike for a while. I wonder if she injured her shoulder falling off the bike. (I injured my shoulder slipping on a Tatter Tot in the school cafeteria. It was fun explaining that to Workers Comp. )

I thought I saw the dog too. I'm glad to hear that. I wonder if Heidi is a dog lover?
I think I saw a picture of her at her house with a small dog in her lap.

We have 2 grandsons who share a bedroom. One time when we were visiting, the younger grandson came to complain that he couldn't go to sleep because his brother wouldn't stop talking. 😅 Dad took care of it and they continue to share a bedroom.
I know someone who has two sons. One of them has a neurological condition where he bounces his head on his pillow in order to go to sleep. Apparently it is a type of self-comforting. Anyway, it was loud enough to disturb the other kid's sleep. They could not share a room. My point to my original comment is that it is possible that there is a reason why they boys can't share a room. Or, it could just be something that the mother wants. Some house hunters demand that each kid has his own room because they never had their own room growing up. Each kid with a separate room is not the most out-there demand we have seen. (Think a room just for Barbie dolls)

They flew with a baby that had an ear infection. They don't seem to take things in life too seriously.

At least she's not using Kelly Bates's excuse for going on the ski trip because she need to cook for them.
Speaking of dogs what happened to Tim's dog?
There was a picture posted here recently of Tim at his "new" house, and his dog was there. Tim was giving the dog a big hug. It appeared that the dog is getting attention and love.

I just spoke to my brother. They were on the coast near Santa Cruz in California and had to come home early. When we spoke yesterday their power had been out for several hours, and they found out today that it won't be back on for at least two more days, so they went back home to the central valley. They can't avoid all the rain, but at least they have electricity.
I hope everyone in California is staying safe and above water.
My friends here just had to move into a hotel for a few days because a hose bib outside broke and flooded three bedrooms. They don't know when they can go back to their house. Winter weather can certainly be inconvenient at times.

Just a stab in the dark, but maybe one son has sleeping problems that would interrupt the other son.

I just hope Howard from the old boards doesn't come back. I never did understand some of the criticism. No one escaped having their posts edited in some way.

Maybe I'm dumb but how does one severely tear their shoulder?
My friend just had shoulder surgery for a "severely" torn rotator cuff. Her rototiller got the better of her. How you severely hurt your shoulder selling Plexus and grifting I do not know. Maybe the cowbells are too heavy.

I am surprised at how much they enjoy their dance classes. What a difference from the way they both grew up. Both Joy and Austin really have a sense of enjoyment. It makes me happy to see that their life is not as austere as their childhoods. And they are taking their kids to the dentist.

They look like they are having so much fun sitting on the couch with the Rubik's cubes. (not) Their lives must be so boring.

Empty but loaded with Plexus!
I would think Plexus is too expensive for her family to use. Although I don't know what she does with the quantity she has to buy to keep getting invited on cruises. Maybe that is why they recently added the second storage attic. I hope the younger children are not living on Plexus. They need food.

Did I miss something? Shannon Klingman of Lume doing Mando? huh?
Not only has Mando been added to their lineup, but she is rather explicit on where the guys can use it. With as much advertising as Lume has, they are apparently selling enough to pay for all the commercials.

@Salacious Kitty How are you doing with the rain? My brother is on the coast near Santa Cruz and said they were hit pretty hard yesterday. Their power had been off for 4 hours when he texted last night. I don't know if it is back or not.
Our weather forecast was for about 4 inches of snow, but it wasn't very accurate. We had over 10 inches with very strong winds. But our power stayed on. It is nice and sunny today.

I feel sorry for any pet that lives with that family. I feel sorry for any baby that lives with that family.

ONE page per day, Jill?? 🤦♀️
I'm guessing that Jill only "prepared" enough lessons for one page a day. She puts no effort into home schooling.

Referencing those photos of Plexis Jill...oh my! Those are certainly NOT photos of the "modest, good Christian woman" that Jill claims to be. They are way too sexy and yes, she looks nothing like this. Too much photoshopping going on here...Isn't there something in the bibles that are against deception? Jill is deceiving her public regarding her appearance.
I wonder if this is part of the reason she does not go on the cruises. People would not recognize her in person based on the photos she posts.

Reading all these books has done nothing for Teacher Jill's grammar skills. The book Sofia is reading is certainly Kindergarten level. At least she is getting some attention and learning to read at least basic words.

Yeah, I was grossed out that of all the places in that barn, she chose her sister’s bed to change a dirty diaper, but I guess that’s the better option than she just left a wiggly, rolling baby on a bunk bed to nap. Shouldn’t that place be teeming with cribs and baby stuff given how freaking kids they have?!
Is the baby cage still around?

Sweet Fellowship: Duggars and Friends (aka the Bates Family and Other Featured Families Thread)
in Counting On
That was a really nice post. And it sounds like Tim has been totally accepted by his in-laws. I am very happy for Heidi, and especially Tim. I hope he finally realizes that other families can be warm, loving, and unselfish.
