They actually touched on the wrongful termination and while she was fired she didn't really have much of a case there either. Juliet did have just cause for being fired. She was the one in charge of the shoot and admitted that she messed up. She even expected to be fired until Cane convinced her that Billy was getting the ax instead. Juliet and Hilary talked many times about how she would have a hard time winning wrong termination due to the facts of said termination especially when they made sure to have her say how she was the one to get the go ahead from the hockey league and then she didn't. The sexual harassment angle is ridiculous but it was useful to get all involved in some way. I have no doubt Hilary will likely be the surprising hero since we know she recorded her conversation with Juliet where she admitted everything. She already seems to be regretting her actions. I don't think Juliet is long for this show and in the end she will be the scapegoat and run out of town. She is being used to make Hilary and Cane look better because despite what they did she is the one lying about something horrible.

I don't disagree but people were definitely blaming other actors and proclaiming the return of Philly would bump the ratings. Never happened and now some of those same ones want to sing a different tune. But yes, overall it's the writing that's the main issue.

I agree. I also think Mal is silent because he clearly pushed for the return of Philly and the ratings are still garbage. I bet he made a big stink about it and it has backfired. I remember him in some magazine going on about how he put together clips of the pairing to show to department heads. He very much is all about that pairing and since it didn't deliver he could be trying to save his on ass too. I bet behind the scenes is a hot mess and they are trying to find a way to fix things. He going around renting expensive billboards when the focus should be creating interesting stories that engage the audience.

I don't think Chloe is dead. That seems way too easy. The doctor seemed trapped by Victor and shocked by what Chelsea and Nick were saying. I think he wanted out the situation and faked Chloe's death. He barely touched her when he declared her dead. I could be wrong but I think the doctor is helping Chloe be free from Victor and we will learn this very soon. I laughed at Phyllis being all offended that Jack didn't seem to give a royal fuck that Dina shamed her. She tried to lay some guilt trip on Jack but he didn't bite. Phyllis needs a reality check. You cheated on your husband with his brother and is currently dating that brother. And you upset Jack didn't defend you? Glad Jack seems to have moved on. Sure it will sting from time to time but overall he seems to be over it. Jack is not the ex she needs to worry about though I think she wises he was. Graham does seem shady. I don't know what their deal is but clearly something is going on.

You notice how moody Billy was with Phyllis? She had to keep trying to get his attention. He even got defensive when Victor was all "Team Philly" cause that meant he was away from Victoria. Billy had to remind Victor that he wasn't leaving her life. And Phyllis tossed him one hell of a look too. They haven't been a public couple 24 hours yet and he already a mess. OMG they really had Hilary hiding and listening to Devon and Mariah having sex. That was insane. This rivalry is just not okay. It is making them all look so bad and juvenile. Chelsea and Jordan knew each other as teenagers and got into some trouble together. They both agree to keep it hush hush. Nikki and Tess are Katherine and Amber 2.0

So Phyllis tells Jack she is back with his brother and then has the nerve to wonder if they can stay friends while telling him he needs to forgive said brother? WHAT? Then she goes to Victoria's business to ask Billy out on a date? This chick lost her damn mind. Also why she keep asking him if he happy? Insecure much? It's kinda ridiculous:

That part definitely stood out. I just shook my head. He actually implied that had he known this none of the stuff with Phyllis would be happening. Now he doesn't want to bring up Phyllis at all. Talk about a 180. I guess this is now the start of Billy going back and forth though I imagine their secret will come out soon because no drama in staying hidden now.

All of Phyllis's dialogue was like an anvil alert. Her face dropped when Billy said he needed to figure out Bella before he could think about a future [with her]. He was ignoring her texts. She was all gushy about being soooo happy and not wanting to jinx anything. Phyllis is on cloud nine and Billy still miserable. It's wild. Not sure where they going with this but it's bizarre. I'm sure they will be a couple but it seems like a set up of some kind.

Exactly. I didn't understand why he was so irate today. He just reunited with Phyllis, right? He back with the one who he can breathe with. She is the one he wants? So why was his veins popping all show long? If not for Phyllis's flashback you might not ever know an hour prior he was rolling around with her on the floor. Such weird direction with this story. Billy clearly doesn't know what he wants and both ladies going to look dumb as he bounces between them ala Nick Newman.

Billy was extremely annoying in this episode. For a man who just got laid he sure was pissy! Phyllis texted him and he almost looked annoyed. When Reed made note he thought Villy were making their way back and to hurry up already, he again looked torn. Then he went out his way to pick a fight with Victoria by being obnoxious in the meeting. Billy coming across like he just pissed at Victoria and using Phyllis to distract himself and stroke his ego. Phyllis in the aftermath of their sex vs Billy's is night and day. And now Jack already thrown in the mix. They wasting no time whatsoever. Nikki's no so subtle threat to Scott was amusing. I like her like this and Jack is going to try and use her to get to Victor? Good luck with that. I doubt it will be as easy as Jack assumes it will be.

Mal Young sucks. Ever since he took over the show has been kind of meh. Not that JFP's ass shouldn't have got the boot because she did. Just don't think he was the answer regardless of what he did overseas. EastEnders is not Y&R and trying to turn it into it is a fail.

You might be right. I am not so sure about that in the long term. I think they want both and hoping this triangle will spark some silly fanwar. I think they notice people are sort of indifferent to the show. They would rather you express hatred vs just not caring. "Love to hate" as they say. I think they also fail to realize we have more options these days and the weather is nicer.

Ah yes. He did. Though all I got out of that was all Phyllis does is coddle him so of course he feels no pressure. Jack and Victoria have truly seen Billy at his worse, not Phyllis. She might have been on the outside looking in by those two were up close and personal dealing with all the highs and lows of Billy. He feels like he has to live up to expectations because he knows what a loser he was with them and wants them to see him as something else. That is not on Jack and Victoria. All they ever asked of him was for him to grow the hell up. That is it. Apparently that is too hard. Phyllis can sit there and soak in his musk and love how he gets all indignant on her behalf but she again really doesn't know a damn thing. But she will eventually. She did this nonsense with Nick and got a reality check. She off doing the same thing with Billy only, unlike Nick, she knows damn well what he really wanted so when Victoria gets in the middle of this she has no one to blame but her damn self.

It is a page long interview with him just babbling on about how he loves the pairing and that they told the affair story but now they get to platy the relationship story but how Victoria and Jack are still very much part if it. Blah blegh fart. We know Mal is all about them so he in heaven right now.

I watched and cringed the entire time. It is definitely a clear triangle. Phyllis fucked Billy who then admitted to Phyllis (after she pushed him to stop lying to himself) that he was basically gutted over the fact Victoria pushed him away and acted like he meant nothing to her. Then she gave him "I am sorry" sex. Literally. She kissed him, said I am sorry, and then fucked him. WHAT? Then Phyllis later tells Michael that she can pursue Billy because his fantasy of fixing things with Victoria died so she free to take him back. Meanwhile Billy and Victoria are at the lab being extremely awkward and angsty. Homeboy is hurt and they got the camera panning back and forth between them and their sad little faces. Again... WHAT? Oh and Mal Young gave an interview in SOD where he basically said he was happy PHILLY were back and they were always in his plan to reunite them and explore that relationship but that what excites him the most is the two "vocal and passionate" fanbases in Villy and Philly. So he about to pop wood over this triangle. Abby is still a moron. She figured out the obvious of Jack fishing for NE info but she dropped a bigger bomb in that the family is tense and that Victoria is now upset with Victoria. Everyone knows they thick as thieves so if she suddenly is pissed then there is a good reason. Now Jack is ready to pounce all the more. Honestly Abby can't be dumber. I like Tessa. Unpopular opinion maybe but I enjoy her shady but subtle vibe. Devon needs to stop giving shit away. He gives Neil half their company. WHY? This show.

It just comes across to me as a bratty rich kill whining. That is literally what he was doing. He was told more than once it was not from his mother or his grandmother. He not blind. When she said he couldn't have it that was it. I get being disappointed but his meltdown was ridiculous. He is a 16 year old crying over not getting a luxury car. You want to act grown? Well then start there.

Men crying over other women don't get me hot. Abby is dumb as hell. I almost felt bad Jack was going to play her until those scenes. Victoria wants Billy back? WHY? Traci's came back to prop Ravi? Yawn. Why is Nick flirting with Sharon? Why is Sharon flirting with Scott? Why did Scott and Phyllis scenes even happen? This show sucks.

Well when Philly were at their all time high is when the ratings started to slide. I remember how that was brought up a lot. Besides no one pairing or character will help or hurt the ratings. I doubt their little couch roll will suddenly bring this show back to 5M. Chloe being exposed barely made a dent. I think the triangle is happening because they not ready for Villy to be official yet, Phyllis has nothing else to do, and they want Billy to be seen as some sexy thing with two women fighting over.

I am also loving this version of Nikki. This is more in tune of how she used to be written. She didn't put up with Victor's shit. She always struck back. That is why they went years apart. She could be just as petty and vindictive as him. The biggest way to hurt Victor is to either take away his company or take away his family. His children have walked away more than once. He has dealt with their disgust of him but the grandchildren are a different. story. Banning him from their lives will hurt him more than anything. I think he would rather jail time than that.

Wow that girl can not act! Sheesh. Not sure why they aged up the twins. Lily is too young. Oh well. So Mattie will be interning at Brash & Sassy? How long until she start crushing on Reed because we all know it is going to happen. Who will Charlie be into? I guess one of Reed's current little groupies unless they age up Faith.

BTS = Behind The Scenes

SOD spoiled that during the week of May 15 - 19 a bunch of characters will be in Los Angeles for various reason. Hilary is trying to get Julie Chen on GC Buzz. The Brash & Sassy group are promoting "Dare" which is why there was a huge promotional billboard up. A few actors and extras posted BTS pictures over the week. They also announced a few cameo appearances (above mentioned Chen, Bud Bundy, and another I can't remember). One is a hotel manager dealing with a "rowdy hotel guest from GC" who I speculate is Phyllis dropping in unannounced. The characters we know for sure involved in this episodes are Victoria, Billy, Cane, Lily, Hilary, and Juliet per BTS stuff.
