  1. Abby needs to ask for a copy of Nutmeg's blue cards. She is the antithesis of her *sister* who attempts to back up her allegations with facts her producer and/or husband provide her with prior to the show. Abby offers nothing when asked for sources to back up her allegations. Kudos to Joy for asking for specifics. Abby won't have to worry come Monday, as her BFF will interrupt and speak for her. I can see it coming and it's going to be painful.
  2. Happy Anniversary, GH!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful news. My husband is a proud survivor also. November 9th will mark the 13th anniversary of his surgery. He is doing well. Your story brings back many memories. My most sincere wishes for your continued good health.
  3. I, too, love Joe, but find his comments interesting in that he only references The Eulogy and doesn't offer any other accomplishments she has achieved during her so-called career (perhaps it's because there is nothing to offer). It appears her claim to fame will be her reaction to her father's illness and death. Having Variety include her in their 50 People of Power of New York is only going to make her more insufferable. I am dreading next week as it's quite obvious it's going to be all about her and her never-ending grief. If they mention the article, I'm betting she will have to comment about how shocking it is to be included in a list of powerful New Yorkers, since she's a Republican. The other co-hosts should be given the week off as there won't be any need for them to be present.
  4. I agree. But I can't help but think that The Bereaved One may have demanded there be no guest co-hosts during her leave. That's why we're seeing her included in the opening each day, just so we don't forget she's still part of the show. Unfortunately, I do think she carries a lot of 'weight' around there these days.
  5. She sounds a hell of a lot more sane and together than the other 'conservative' co-host. Hopefully, when the other one decides to return from her bereavement leave, she will start to feel the competition and will have a mega meltdown and have to take another extended leave.
  6. My husband said the same thing, totally unsolicited. I agree, but was trying to be as diplomatic as possible. You know she's such a narcissist she wouldn't be passing up all of the screen time if it wasn't going to benefit her to do so.
  7. I've noticed on Twitter that Nutmeg is liking posts and retweeting others' posts related to her dad or his particular type of cancer. I do find it strange she hasn't resurfaced in order to spew forth her more than two cents worth of misinformation regarding the Kavanaugh debacle. She was beyond thrilled with his nomination. Personally, I think she's at some fabulous spa decompressing both emotionally and physically and attempting to get herself back on track. I think she's that self centered and self absorbed. Let's face it, I doubt she's at home with her mother packing up things, donating others and doing all the stuff those of us who have lost a parent must attend to. That's why I feel it's now become absurd that she hasn't returned to her duties at The View and it's more annoying considering they insist on including her in the opening each day. The show is much better without her and I hope she stays wherever she is indefinitely.
  8. My feelings exactly! I bet she was on the phone throwing a temper tantrum screeching and crying about just losing her father and having to respond to inquiries as to whether she was still part of the show. Poor, poor Nutmeg. It's obvious to me the show is bending over backwards to her and it's only going to get much worse. I'm getting the feeling the Executive Producer, Brian Teta, is taking the show in a different direction and it's not working. Hard to believe he worked for The Letterman Show. I have a feeling he's in Nutmeg's corner, another Bill Geddie. The longer interviews with guests are something new this season and something I thought I would enjoy as I've thought in seasons past many guests were rushed and not given a chance to speak and promote their latest projects. They need to get the timing down better for questions from the hosts as it's extremely annoying for someone to ask a question and then Whoopie has to jump in and tell them to hold that thought, we'll be right back. It seems to be happening with almost every segment. I wonder how this will play out when Nutmeg returns. She will probably dominate the conversation and pontificate even more than ever. Sunny's behavior was extremely annoying during the Planned Parenthood segment. I'm beginning to think she may be taking cues from her good friend. She's beginning to behave like she does when someone or something doesn't suit her. Dear Abby is going to be interesting to watch when the chosen one returns. I think Nutmeg will walk all over her. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it. I was surprised to hear Michael Moore and her grandfather were friends.
  9. I'm wondering what in the world Sara was thinking when she agreed to this new GMA gig (although I have a feeling she wasn't given a choice). It reminds me of a rip off of Live with Kelly and Michael and not in a good way. Didn't last longer than 15 minutes and went to fold laundry which was more interesting. I can't see this new show lasting for her and it's a shame she has been relegated to such a role. With the cancellation of The Chew and the resigning of NutMeg and the hiring of Abby, I'm beginning to think the powers to be at ABC have totally lost their minds.
  10. Here's hoping that's exactly what she decides to do. I, for one, would like to hear what Omarosa, Stormy, Avenatti and Michael Moore have to say without being constantly interrupted and attacked. I'm curious to see how Abby handles the guests scheduled for this week.
  11. We'll, Joy had to go out of her way to tell Van Jones she and Nutmeg are friends. They go out drinking and Nutmeg can out drink her. A little tired of hearing that storyline. Tell me something else. She more or less alluded to Abby being reserved. Not happy with her becoming part of the Meghan McCain fan club. Her demeanor on air sure hasn't shown her love for the bitch. Will be interesting to see how things go when the chosen one returns.
  12. Thanks for reminding me about NutMeg freaking out about Game Change on The View. She did say it was a smear against her family and she was livid. Perhaps she resented the fact that the book rehashed what I believe showed the Senator exhibiting poor judgment choosing someone like Palin for a running mate. I saw the HBO movie and thought it was excellent and recently mentioned to my husband that he should watch it if it's still available on HBO as I think he might enjoy it. Julianne Moore was excellent as Sarah Palin as was Sarah Paulson as Nicolle. Let's be honest, there are a lot of stories out there about the McCain family and many of them are far from favorable. I do believe that NutMeg would take great pleasure in thinking that she took a job away from someone who treated her family badly. She wouldn't give a damn that Jed was at the table in the interim because she's just that petty and vindictive. She also went out of her way when she announced she was returning for a second season to boast that she was the only conservative host in recent years to be invited back for a second season. A dig I'm sure. Guess she conveniently forgot that Candace and Jed both returned for second seasons and Candace chose to leave to spend more time with her family and I will always believe that Jed was dismissed by the powers to be because the bitch became available and they thought she would bring the buzz to the show.
  13. Heard part of their conversation. Quite unsettling. I made particular note of Nicolle saying she, Steve Schmidt and someone else weren't invited to the McCain memorial service. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I'll leave it at that.
  14. My thoughts exactly. Between the two of them, each and every show will be peppered with "my father" this and "my father" that. Don't these idiots have any ideas of their own they can offer? Miss Abby gives off an entitled vibe but I didn't pick up the angry vibe "her sister" exhibits on a daily basis (not just while eulogizing her father, it's who she really is). I also think she is more articulate and seems able to formulate a complete sentence. She didn't read from her blue cards each time she spoke. All in all, she presents herself in a more mature fashion than her partner on the show. The true test will be when NutMeg returns and is basking in the glory of her recent media exposure. I think she's going to be even more insufferable, if that's possible. Miss Abby is going to be her wingman. NutMeg won't want Abby receiving more attention or accolades than she receives and I predict there will be a comment that she is the one responsible for bringing her on the show. Abby better not try to outshine the Queen. She'll be put in her place, sister or not. Was it me or did Joy seem "off" today? She didn't appear happy, almost annoyed. She didn't seem to be herself.
  15. If I wasn't aware that John McCain was the father to seven children, I would swear Meghan was his only child. Most photos run by media outlets only show her front and center. She is a fame whore and I will be interested to see how she positions herself at the upcoming services this week. If one of his children delivers a eulogy, I wonder if it will be given by one of the other siblings or if she'll seize the moment. I can only imagine what her other siblings, particularly the three older kids from his first marriage, really think of her. Next Tuesday should be interesting. I predict she will return to debut The Meghan McCain Show and viewers are in store for each and every guest for the entire season offering their sympathies and praise for her deceased father. She will feel the need to mention her father, his disease and his passing on each and every show. Don't want to sound nasty but I just know that's how it's going to play out. The passing of her father couldn't have happened at a more convenient time as far as her position on The View goes.
  16. It's official for me, I'm out! The show will be removed from my DVR. There is no way in hell I will watch this train wreck. RBM posted a pic on Instagram this past weekend showing her holding Huntsman's baby daughter, Isabel. I knew then something was up. I don't know why ABC doesn't rename the show Meghan McCain's View. I'm guessing Huntsman will be mute anytime anyone wants to talk about Russia in view of her father's position. Reminds me how they never discussed the tax cuts because you know who's father had voted in favor of them and I guess it was deemed to be too touchy a subject. What a mistake all the way around. I'll be giving Sara's GMA a look.
  17. Just read about Huntsman possibly joining the table as a second conservative and had to vent. I am beyond pissed off. This confirms that Meh-gun is not going anywhere and it appears to me she may have a lot more pull than I, at least, thought she had. Abby Huntsman is one of her BFF's and she has posted pics on Twitter of them out to dinner on a Saturday night in Manhattan. I think Meh-gun is pushing for this as she does not want Tara to join the show, as she is her worst nightmare. She's smart and will call her out on her shit. I really had hoped that Tara was going to replace Sara, but it appears that is not going to be the case. The show will now have two conservatives who will not speak freely because they both have family 'in the administration'. This is the straw that breaks the camel's back for me. No wonder that arrogant bitch has been so smug lately, she knows she's safe and now she's going to have back up.
  18. Just read on Twitter that Sarah is leaving to join the third hour of GMA. I had a feeling this was going to happen. Now it's almost a given that Meh-gun will return in September. To keep on topic, I'm hoping that Ana and Tara are vying for the opening by appearing this past week. Perhaps Ana can be convinced to join the table. If not, I think Tara would be an excellent addition. I noticed the look on Meh-gun's face the other day whenever Ana was speaking, it's quite evident she feels threatened by her and doesn't like it when she fills in. I'm sure Tara can give her a run for her money also. If the idea is to add another conservative to the table, to offset the craziness of Meh-gun, I'm all for it. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather they move her to GMA or give her the boot all together, but that's probably not happening with the mid-terms around the corner. She would no longer be able to scream about being the only Republican/conservative at the table. I noticed she and Sunny embracing each other at the end of the show on Thursday after the JP fiasco. Wondered what that was all about. Sunny better watch her back.
  19. I am so tired of Meg-gun putting words in Joy's mouth and assuming she knows exactly how Joy feels about a topic they're discussing prior to Joy having the opportunity to voice her opinion. She does this repeatedly and it is so rude. I truly believe it's part of Meg-gun's quest to get back at Joy because Joy backed Obama. I was surprised that Dershowitz didn't totally piss me off today. I also appreciated his reaction to Meh-gun's incorrect assumption that he has been a Trump supporter all along. He didn't kiss her ass or treat her as if she's from a royal family, so for that I'm thankful. I'll take anything at this point.
  20. Found Mad Meghan's comments very telling when she mentioned her mother bringing up the subject of her having children five times over the previous weekend and MM's response to her mother was she is a co-host on The View, isn't that enough?? She really thinks she has made the big time. Exactly why I think she'll do anything to keep this gig going; she is loving the fact that she's on network tv on a daily basis.
  21. Boy, Mad Meghan was kissing ABC's ass while pontificating about the Roseann saga. She is in full tilt save her job mode and unfortunately I think it's gonna work. I have a sinking feeling that she'll be back in the fall, particularly after her performance during sweeps month.
  22. I would love to see her and Carole go at it. Her head would be spinning.
  23. Elsa was a bitch on WWHL when she said Teddi shouldn't have been hired for RHOBH just because she has a famous last name!! How does she think she has gotten every job she's ever held? Oh yeah, because her last name is McCain!! She is a nasty piece of work. I don't think Teddi responded the way she wanted her to, she commented about making a practice of not tearing other women down or words to that effect. A classy response. I notice Ericka didn't fall for the bait the other day when Elsa was attempting to draw her in on her quest to get Teddi fired. They showed a clip of her comment on WWHL on the BH reunion show which only gave Elsa more publicity. I'm sure she will bring it up again when Andy Cohen is a guest on The View in the next week or so.
  24. You're very welcome!! I have no problem typing the c word but didn't want to offend anyone here since I'm new at posting. I totally agree with you about Mad Meghan getting flushed and blotchy at the mention of anything having to do with sex, but she's ready, willing and able to have Ericka in her midst doing her over the top sexual thing and that's not a problem. Meghan is beyond hypocritical. I can't remember if she said she met Ericka on Andy's show or if they've been twitter friends for awhile. I think Lisa Rinna may have been the other guest the last time Meghan was on WWHL but I may be mistaken. Speaking of Andy Cohen, you ain't seen nothing yet - wait until next week when he's scheduled to be a guest on The View!! He will kiss MM's ass to the point of no return. She will be orgasmic. I will be physically ill. It just keeps getting worse as the rehab of Meghan continues. Fuck her and her phony persona.
  25. Erika definitely is one nasty bitch on RHOBH. Wonder what Meg's Evangelical in-laws will say when they find out their darling, conservative daughter-in-law is hanging out with a bitch who wears a necklace that says "c***y" and sings about patting her "puss". Interesting that Mad Meghan finds Ericka so inspirational and wants to hang out with her. I think the two of them have a lot more in common than we can begin to imagine and not in a good way.
