Please note: with the closure of The Royals forum, there will still be no discussion of the British Royal family's current form, challenges, or fraught relationships in The Crown forum. Episode topics should focus on the episode itself and anything prior in the show. The Season Six: History Beyond the Episodes allows for more leeway, including discussion of how events really happened or what wasn't shown. Here is a link to the site announcement on the forum closure. Thank you! The Crown forum mods, @Athena & @saoirse

That CO was just a wee bit long, right? -
They have been messing with the timeline since the first season. Definitely a work of fiction, inspired by actual events.

Reminder: discuss the episode. This is not the place to talk about what MAY have happened or reports, articles, books, or other media that have come out since. It is also not the place to talk about what happened past the end of the episode. Please take discussion to the Season Six: History topic or The Royals forum as appropriate. Thank you!

With the second half of the sixth season dropping, please refresh yourself with the above guidelines. As always - discussion in episode topics is ABOUT the episode. Discussion that is not about the episode, including articles or discussion about 'how it really happened' belong in the Season Six: History topic, and will be removed from the episode topic without notice. Thank you.

LSSC: Season Nine Episode Talk
formerlyfreedom replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Late Show With Stephen Colbert
I talked to my mom tonight and told her about how Evie was in the wings, clearly keeping her eye on Stephen (Mom adores Evie and Stephen). Yes, pretty sure she was there to keep him on track! -

S49.E07: Adam Driver / Olivia Rodrigo
formerlyfreedom replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Saturday Night Live
I love Adam Driver. He is just a fantastic host, game for anything, and it feels like the cast enjoys working with him. I don’t usually pay a lot of attention to the musical performances, but Olivia Rodrigo’s first song seemed really well done. -

S49.E06: Emma Stone / Noah Kahan
formerlyfreedom replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Saturday Night Live
Emma was up for everything/anything. The writing really let her down tonight. The musical guest, the monologue, and the PDD pretape were really the only things that I enjoyed. -

The musical guest isn’t someone I’m familiar with, but damned if I’m not kinda enjoying him. -

As a reminder - the episode topics are for discussion of the episodes. Posts that comment on more recent events, other media (i.e., movies, tv shows, etc) about the British Royal family, really, anything that is not directly related to the episode does NOT belong in the episode topics, and will be removed without notification. Repeated infractions may result in further sanctions. Please feel free to PM the forum mods, @saoirse & @Athena if you have any questions. Thank you.

Folks, please stick to the episode. To discuss what ‘really’ happened, please go to the Season 6: History topic. Thank you.
-
Let’s please stick to the episode here, thank you!
-
Just a quick added reminder - this show is presented as a work of fiction inspired by real-life events. Asking in an episode topic for proof that something happened or explaining how it happened differently is off-topic and posts will be removed. These discussions belong in the Season 6: History topic. Thank you for your cooperation!
-
Please note - this is the discussion topic for this episode of The Crown. Posts that are all about other media (e.g., other movies or tv shows) belong in the Season Six History topic. Please read the Notes From the Forum Mods and follow the forum rules for posting to avoid warnings or other sanctions. Thank you.
