Thanks for your response @scarynikki12. It's not so much blood I have a problem with. It's the eating of body parts with blood dripping down the vampire's/zombie's chin as they enjoy their human luncheon special.

How gory is Sinners because I've pretty much given up on films/television shows featuring vampires or zombies. Too many are made as if I want to watch them chomping down at a human buffet.

Gene Hackman was 95. Any close friends still alive most likely have people checking up on them. According to one daughter, there was no estrangement and they got along well with their stepmother. Who knows if this is true. But if it is, maybe Gene once told them don't worry about me, if there's a problem Betsy will call you. Perhaps contacting him every month or so had just become the family habit.
