I don't mean to be rude but wasn't KC there yesterday? I mean she is in the photo so she obviously is there. Don't they plan that?

Weird, thanks for the info. I hate my phone. :-)

My guess...Newbies, BC& BS and Slade's episodes...

Well, 4A I enjoyed. The rest not so much. But I have a feeling people always assume that everything is Olicity related. So, if he says he didn't care for S4, some people assume 'because Olicity sucks' and that he supposedly agrees with them. I didn't enjoy S4 for many reasons and the relationship at the beginning wasn't the probleme. I didn't like the stupid kid storyline. The irony is that, like @Angel12d said, that they are bringing back the kid which was a storyline that clearly divided many people and essentially a storyline mainly created for drama and to break Olicity up in the end. Now it needs to become a story with actual substance. However the Arrow folks don't really care that much for these kinds of storytelling therefore I am dreading it. I also didn't care for Donna in the later episodes and I found Darkh to be an awful villain. I never understood what he could/couldn't do. The underground thing where they kept Thea was dumb. I didn't enjoy the flashback and I absolutely didn't care for the filler episodes at the end of the seasons. After Laurel's death, which didn't affect me all that much, there wasn't really a strong storyline leading the show to become exciting again. That being said, I feel as though S5 is hyped too much. Yes, the villain was better even though he was also a physic being able to know everything without explanation. But I blame that on MG. In his Collider interview he basically said he doesn't understand why people just care about the details so much. I didn't care for the lack of warmth in the relationships and I certainly didn't care for Susan. But the show ended stronger for me than S4. However, I am still not sure how they are going to excite me this time round. As of right now, none of the promotion sounds appealing. And I wish SA would just drop the 'all my friends are dead' bit. I know he is trying to be coy but it annoys me.

Rest assured, they sure know how to promote the show this year... I have a hard time with 'You Oughta Know' as Oliver's theme song. Does he mean the title and chorus only? Because the rest of it doesn't really fit Oliver that well to be honest. Additionally, Oliver is smiling more in the first 3 episodes? Because William's mum is dead and he has the traumatised teen all to himself? Also, if Oliver had a whole day, he'd spend it with it William. That sounds like a CBS sitcom waiting to happen. Maybe the show is yet again trying to get a spinoff off the ground. ;)

Is it weird to still hope that she might be in a coma and not dead? Because having Oliver as a father 24/7 still doesn't sound appealing. Who in their right mind thinks that the show needs more DadOliver?

Sorry, my phone did a weird thing.

Because she is eeeevvvviiillllll. That will probably be the only reason given. Also she dyed her hair because once in a while a girl needs a change and maybe she felt more summery over the summer months. If we are really lucky we might get a flashback about her life since the islands. Something exciting and fun with a touch of an evil facial expression. In all seriousness while I liked KC in things like Gossip Girl as the mean girl, I never really liked her as the good girl. Maybe that is my personal perception but I seriously thought she'd work better as a bad guy but I have a feeling I will grow tired of the 2 evil faces she does. It is either angry or smug/scheming. I have no idea who directs her that way but I think that it might be more obvious when you see the character more regularly. At least Laurel could have had different emotions but I have think they tell her, "she does this and looks evil while doing it", then you as a viewer get the facial expression above. Maybe I am going to end up being wrong about, who knows. Maybe someone at the CW should tell people that in order to promote a show, you need to make viewers excited about it. I don't know who wants to tune in after watching these promos. They more or less make me not want to tune in. I will because of other stuff but certainly not because the PR people do their job well.
-
Because haven't you heard? Everyone else is DEAD! Well except for Slade, his son and BS. Maybe Oliver and Slade will call each other with parenting tips from here on out...
-
I always get the feeling that the people at the CW love to promote the same thing even though it rarely fits with the actual show. Maybe they like the character or the actor or dislike something else. Agreed

I enjoy MB as Deathstroke but I don't know if I'd be interested in watching a show about him and his family. I like him as a villain/adversary type of character but I am not as interested in much more than that. Am I the only person who doesn't really care about the crossover. I get why they do them and that they are successful when it comes to ratings but I don't really care for them. Didn't like first year and I really didn't like the second year. I just don't watch the other shows and I am not interested in aliens on Arrow. Also I found the 100th episode to be one of the weaker episodes. But then again, I found S5 as a whole was lacking.

How do you go from E1 to E2? Do you buy a ticket for a special plane? Why do you not go back? Is E1 the better earth?

I always get the feeling that the Arrow producers don't care about details at all. I mean, he even mentioned that he finds that strange that people are so focused on that. I don't think it is weird at all if you make a show about a billionaire, make a storyline about him losing his money but then still have him do stuff that no broke person could. I also think that he likes the LoT is so all over the place. You can always say 'that is time travel'. It is crazy and therefore not many rules apply. Mostly one of the reasons, I couldn't get into it. It is just too fun, you know. As for the BLM episode, of course he will write it. That is the only reason why they are doing these episodes because he wants to include his personal views and political ambitions. And because the cause is important, l hope he will treat this one better than the gun episode.
-
I mean, I get that one should be happy that the show is even included and maybe SA doesn't want to do it but why would you promote the show with those characters? Because they have time?
-
This might be presumptuous because I don't know any of these people. I sometimes get the feeling that if people constantly tell you how great you are, you will drink your own kool-aid at some point. And I mean, why shouldn't he buy into it. He probably makes tons of money of his fans and he doesn't even have to use Arrow as much for his self promotion. He can buy a Hollywood hills home and some others, he can travel all the time, he makes sure everyone can see his wife is a model because he hung her picture right behind him. At this point in time he seems to check off all the boxes of being a celebrity. So, maybe at the beginning it was fun and a way to get people interested in him. Now it is more about keeping them interested in you as your own brand.
-
As far as his public persona goes, I feel he has become more business and less personal. Does that make sense? Also he has a bigger following probably but sometimes he can't stop himself from feeding trolls or reacting to criticism. Because once he starts he becomes personal. My personal two favorites of his are still #notalltexans and the thing about Coachella and his wife. That was hilarious to me. Also I think he anticipated the TMNT movie to do way better. That must have not been a happy thing for him.

"Sorry, I can't talk about the new season. I might still be dead. You are supposed to be on the edge of your seat about that one - nobody is?-oh well then ..." ;-) I don't know if the producers actutally believe that they convinced the audience that everyone died. Even SA sometimes gives tongue in cheek answers because he knows that people aren't buying it. Same thing happened with the "Is Oliver dead" cliffhanger.

Cheating is never cool. Regardless of whether or not it happened, that relationship must have really hurt him if he still has not been able to let some things go. He is now married to someone else who presumably is not like the ex-wife. She seems to enjoy living with what he provides. On top he has a cute daughter. If you still need to 'win' years later than that relationship must have really done something with you. (Also I think he tends to have a bit of an ego and preferably likes to be to one top of it all. Which shouldn't diminish his pain. Just an observation.)

Seems like there is no love lost. I still find it weird that it is not actually acknowledged as a divorce if that is what it was but maybe that goes back to his preferred image we talked about. Can I just say that I really like DR. He seems like such a great guy.
-
I have to admit that I once or twice had to leave work because I had a super bad headache. It can happen suddenly that you feel unwell and a few hours later you feel better but I don't know why KC's management/handler can't let the con management know right away. Isn't that kind of their job. Also how cute is Josh geeking out because of meeting Stan Lee. So so great. He seems like an awesome guy.

I am not even sure I'd want a crossover wedding but I'll take it. But I don't want a double wedding. That is just not something I enjoy. Let everyone have their own thing when they are getting married. Also, in that Flash BTS pic, I think they had CP wear the engagement ring. So I'd be more on the side of Iris/Barry getting married and that girls episode is the bachelorette party of sorts.

Thanks for explaining you guys. :-) and how lovely of you to donate @apinknightmare.

I really wonder why they would want to focus on BS in the promotion. I mean, does anyone buy into her being important or being a big baddie? Even the new BC is more of a draw for me than BS. I like the chemistry she has with some members of the team. Or I guess, focus on Slade. But whoever decided to focus on William and BS, oh well. And I still refuse to believe that the show is permanently stuck with a child. I like kids but they rarely work on shows, at least for me. Even Emma on Friends was more with the babysitter. But there is a difference between a baby and a teen. But maybe they think that is what the show is missing...
-
Is it normal that donations go through a company and not to a fund directly? I have no idea. But regardless, it is a very lovely thing to do from all the people trying to help.

It just baffles me sometimes how he brings it up because I don't even question that his family is important to him. So although it is part of his imagine I don't question it. If he were photographed every weekend at a party, maybe then I'd be like "what About his family". Although I do think people give him crap for having his daughter spend so much time with her nanny which is not very polite either. As for the cons; don't they all go with him all the time? His family and all his buddies?
