  1. I agree with you. What was he supposed to do - stand up and cheer? She thought he would react badly, which is why she didn't want to tell him. He was surprised, and what she told him is going to completely change their relationship as he had pictured it. I don't consider his reaction to be all that negative, but that was the best negative reaction he could have possibly had. The narrator made a point of saying that Michael hadn't reacted that way, but that was two years ago and before she'd been engaged to anyone. What Rose did to Luisa was cruel, but I don't blame her for doing it. Luisa had no right to make a one-sided decision to blow up her family like that. The relationship was over, and they both regretted it. At best her father would have been devastated at having been betrayed by the two most important women in his life. Given what little we seen of him, the dad seems like a nasty guy, so if I were Rose, I'd be worried about my safety if he found out.
  2. I will say that both Connie Britton and Will Chase are very good at fake bad acting.
  3. It's becoming increasingly difficult to watch Luke try to get Rayna to love him. In some respect, Luke is worse than Deacon. He's also been pining for Rayna for years. He's been bitter about Deacon and Rayna's relationship for years. At least Deacon has a past relationship as a basis for his feelings. Rayna was just Luke's dream girl, and now he's bitter because she's not perfect, and she can't just erase her past and be head over heels for him. Rayna's reaction to Deacon's "I love you" was way over the top. He wasn't asking to get back with her. He wasn't asking her to do anything. He was merely stating a fact. He does love her. Even if he "moved on," he would still love her. You don't just stop loving someone, even if you can't be with them. That person will always mean something to you. I think she lashed out because she knows her heart hasn't moved on either. I'm disturbed by the fact the both Layla and Juliette have slept with Jeff after he was so incredibly nasty to them. I realize that with Juliette it was hate sex, but what's Layla's reasoning? He hasn't said one kind word to her before today, and he tried to ruin her career. So now he pays her a compliment and plays the guitar, and all is forgiven?
  4. I'm convinced that Magda is Sin Rostro, based on the meaning of the name, her scheming ruthlessness, and the fact that Disgusting Tom said he was murdered by Sin Rostro, so s/he is someone who's been in the hotel. The police have yet to actually see Sin Rostro, right? So maybe they are just assuming it's a man. I think the wheelchair is just a cover. If she is Sin Rostro, I'm not sure if Petra knows or not. I love the narrator more and more each week. "OMG! It's him, it's him!" was golden. I hope we see more of Nicholas Gonzalez. I don't know why, but Michael's haircut is really bothering me all of a sudden. Additionally, and maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I'm also bothered by how quickly people's clothes come off on TV. I swear Nadine just touched Michael's shirt and it fell open. Where do you buy these magic TV shirts?
  5. I get the impression that Vaughn believes that a traditional marriage means having a wife who attends to his every want and need while having none of her own. That's not the way it goes, unless the relationship is abusive. Not to mention, when he has children, he will cease to be the focus of his future wife's attention. Let's hope he can handle that. ETA: Something just occurred to me. The host asked Jamie and Paul if they are still married, and they said Yes. The truth is, though, that all of the couples are still married. Monet said they can't get divorced until October. I couldn't bear to watch all of Doug and Jamie's interview, but from what I saw, I can't tell if their relationship is legit or not.
