    Who was it this specific episode? 

    Celinda was the "stomper" on the runway. She didn't like Amy A's quick exit.

    I actually think the red works on her. I can't do red. I've tried. Raisin, yes. Red, no. I look like Elton John in drag.

    Red has always looked hideous on me. I can wear darker plums or coral or pink (ick) or burnt sienna, but not red. Either it's too blue-red and doesn't match my skin tone or it's too yellow-red and makes my teeth look a shade darker. Good for Raylee for being able to pull it off. Some girls are just able to rock that color! 

    I agree about some of the vets not getting much air time. I don't know if it's by choice or not. Robyn is absolutely adorable. She & Kashara were my favorite rookies last season.

    The only fan-vote winner to make the team, so far, has been Loren (the one with the brunette "hair shock"). Vivian was the first, Loren 2nd, Colby 3rd and Jackie the 4th. So far, fan-vote seems to be the kiss-of-death for those who made it in solely on the fan vote (Colby & Jackie). Vivian & Loren would have made TC without the FV. I wish there was a more objective way to do the FV so it doesn't end up the winner is the one who can get more people to vote. Like, a way to rank their technique.  Hey, maybe they could do Kelli's infamous Yes/No/Maybe buttons on each fan vote video? (See how I tied that in there? LOL)

    Finally realized Kacey Musgraves was on Nashville Star back in 2007. I knew she looked familiar! Didn't really care for her on the show, just a bland personality, which seems to be the same. If they're going to have former Nashville Star alums on, bring on Chris Young :)

    Had a chance to re-watch. That trapeeze dress is all sorts of wrong. Maybe with leggings or pants, but not bare legged. I'm 47 and bustier than Kelli. I wouldn't wear that. It makes her look bigger. 

    Bethany's eyes bug me more than Emily's. I feel like they just don't like Emily. 

    Kelli's face when Kacey said she wasn't sold on Yuko. That spoke volumes. "I am contractually obligated not to agree with that opinion or acknowledge it". Don't get me wrong, I think Yuko is adorable and I like her. I just feel they're lavishing more praise than I'm seeing her deserve from what's been shown. 

    Kelsey can really keep her poise when she needs to and I think Kelli is expecting her to breakdown and cry. Go, Kelsey! I think she bought some time because she didn't cave in and cry. Good for her. 

    Loved Kelli Q's uniform fitting :)

    Kyndall getting her uniform from last season. Can you imagine being that close and getting cut? I feel bad she was let go from her job.

    The uniform fit Jessika & Bethany perfectly. 

    Poor Allie, she doesn't have an ounce of fat on her, but the uniform was NOT flattering on her at all. 

    Not sad to see Jackie go. She had a flat affect personality. I notice they didn't encourage her to return. 

    I do think the tall girl Lindsay should try again. She has a great smile, just needs to "pop" when performing. Hard to overcome years of training to be smooth. 

    Belk fashion show reminds me of back-to-school shopping with my grandma in the 70s/80s. I doubt you'll get the "DCC Look" at Belk. Do love getting to see the vets!

    Celinda needs some runway coaching from ANTM's Ms. J :)

    Wish they had actually said Jacie was assisting with the guest choreographer. Love, love, love Jacie's curls!

    The drink Yuko was holding in her hand, walking in to practice, almost looked like a draft beer. I'm sure it was iced tea, but it made me double-take when I saw it. 

    This is the 5th show and I still don't know whether I like Tasha or not.

    Cup size is based on the difference between your band size and how big around you are at the fullest point of your bust. A D cup is a 4 inch difference.  E is 5 inches, F is 6 inches, G is 8 inches. Some bra manufacturers use DD instead of E, so it gets muddled as to actual cup size when you're above a D.  I wear a 34H.

    Amy is very small & petite, so having a big bust is going to result in a bigger cup size due to the difference. I am by no means a petite person, but my whole life I was wearing the wrong band/cup size until I got professionally measured. Considering Amy's wardrobe malfunction issue last year, I'm assuming she went to a professional to be measured and get the proper support. She doesn't seem to have the jiggle issue she had last year.  A properly fitted bra makes a world of difference!

    Another thought:  Why did they introduce Melissa as Melissa Rycroft?  Even the banner said Rycroft only.  Is she not going by Rycroft-Strickland anymore?

    Plus, there was a DCC (I wanna say about 2005/2006?) who was a little over 5'11".  That's about as close to 6 feet tall as you can get. It's not like it's really "new".  Remember when they used to post the height for each girl on the old DCC website? The tall DCC was always standing on the side in the squad photo.

    He reminds me so much of my stylist I used to have in the 90s.  He would dress in the most outlandish outfits and had an "interesting" look. But he was AMAZING at styling & coloring.  I cried when he left Chicago to go to California to be with the man of his dreams.  I've never found another stylist who was better.  

    The DCC guy is definitely growing on me :)

    Something I've always wanted to know about the DCC:  how do they decide what type of appearances the girls or the entire team go to?  I'm sure there are some types of requests that are outlandish.  Is it typically just corporate sponsor type appearances?  Charities?  Private parties?

    My thoughts on tonight's episode:

    1.  THANK YOU CMT for showing the Barbies being awarded!

    2.  Another thank you to CMT for putting the names of the TCCs on the screen while they're dancing. It's so hard to remember who's who and that was very helpful.  Plus, I love the split-screens they're doing.  Love the new feel of the show this season!

    3.  I actually liked Melissa Rycroft's mentoring session this time. She gave better constructive criticism and it felt less scripted than the last 2 seasons.  The hallway sessions were still scripted, but the studio feedback felt more genuine.

    4.  I *loved* seeing Kelsey's face when they said she was top 10 at finals.  You go, girl!!!!

    5.  I feel like Amy A. is getting the same kind of edit that Alexandra got.

    6.  Yuko must be a very good dancer to be able to pick up the choreo so well and not being able to speak & understand English fluently.  Good for her!  I still find her adorable.

    7.  I feel bad that Jinelle had such a bad experience back at home.  A burst cyst is incredibly painful.  Poor thing!

    8.  Does anyone else feel like Kelli & Judy are being more positive with their comments?  Or maybe they're just editing in more of their supportive feedback? I like it, though. It's not so negative.

    9.  Yikes, Whitney gets such a hard look on her face when she dances. It's hard to not look like you're concentrating when you're learning something new.

    10.  I wonder why the first night was at AT&T Stadium instead of Valley Ranch?

    11.  It seems like they're doing back stories on more of the TCCs this year.  I definitely like this change.

    12. Good for Kelli Q. getting the "HELL YES!" from Kelli :)

    13. I feel like Tasha expected to waltz on the squad on her looks and didn't think it was going to be so hard.  Still on the fence about her.

    14. I feel bad for the girl who fell on her butt during the kicks.  OUCH!

    15.  That one girl is just way too tall compared to the other girls (sorry, blanking on the name right now). I don't see how she's going to blend in.

    16.  There's one TCC that has very close set eyes (Brennan?) and it's making me wonder how she made it to TC. She has a very harsh look.  Not sure how she dances, but not sold on the look at all.

    17.  Can't wait to see makeovers next week!

    Oh, look.  They're all doing the Jinelle arm moves in their dance.  We definitely know where she learned that!

    Jinelle does the SAME moves every single year in her solo. All she does is change the costume. It's always hip shake, arm up, hip shake, other arm up, feet, feet, feet, hip shake,  flail arms. When you look at the clip of her dancing on her former Aussi cheer team, she's doing the SAME dance. Frankly, I'm surprised they don't call her out on it.
