My Granny always made me go to Belk to buy back-to-school clothes before the end of summer, so I always associate it with her. I season 9, there was one Belk outfit that I actually liked. I can't remember who wore it off the top of my head, but it was during the "fashing do's & don's" segment before the Belk fashion show. It was the "do" to wear at the airport with the white pants, the sleeveless print top and the handbag. I would definitely wear that outfit. Otherwise, the rest is just kind of general department store stuff.

I'm only a few years younger than Kelli and I used be flexible "Gumby" and could kick my nose, like Lacey. There's no way at this age that I could attempt to dance like I could back then without embarrassing myself. You just get to a point where you start to lose your flexibility. Every time I do yoga it makes me sad that I can't put my nose on my knees anymore. I just don't think K & J would be able to do the dances. There just comes a time when, as much as you'd love to be able to do it, your body won't let you.

I wonder if there will be any more cuts this week?

Well, now we know for sure who the 1st cut was. Awww, so sad that it was Whitney. She's tried for a long time to make the team. I wonder if she'll give it another go next year? Or if K&J gave her the "thanks, but no thanks" vibe when she was cut?f

Even though I've been watching this show since the first 2 hour special, this is the first year I'm getting spoiled before the series premiere. I swear, I'm more nervous to find out who's getting cut now than when I watch the show! I sure hope it's not one of the girls I'm rooting for.

3700 calories is over 1 pound burned off (a pound is 3500). It's pretty hard to get close to even 1000 calories burned, even with a tough workout. I could see burning 3700 if it's really hot & humid with all the physical activity, but it makes me wonder how much at risk these girls are for dehydration?

I was expecting Kelsey's hair to be dramatically different. I'm glad to see it's still dark, though! Emily looks so much better with the new hair color, I really like it. It helps soften her eyes. Can't they just have a squad of 48 so no one has to get cut? Wishful thinking :)

I agree. I can't imagine her not having the dark hair and blue eyes. I think that makes her look unique. I just can't picture her with a different hair color. I'm sure she'll look gorgeous, no matter what they do with her hair. I'll be interested to see what they did!

Regarding Kelsey and the low profile lately: my assumption is that they did a drastic change to her look during make-overs so she can't really post pics without violating her non-disclosure agreement with MTT. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it :)

I meant they used the cameos on the website to announce the squad, not announcing the squad to the TCCs

It's my understanding the team is always selected after the 8th week of training camp and they use the girls' cameos for the announcement At least, that's how it's gone in the past. This is the first year I'm following the spoilers during TC. I usually ended up taking a peek at the squad photo before MTT started anyway, so might as well have full on spoilers this year :) I'm sure we'll find out who did/did not make the team before the official announcement.

Considering it's week 3, they're going to have to start making some cuts, especially since they took so many in to TC.

Yeah, I'm in Kelli's "club" and there's no way I'd ever wear a dress like that. When you are a double D or above, it's just not flattering. The girls need some support!

Amy Simone just posted a vid/pic of her, Kelsey, and another TCC (sorry, don't know her name, a blonde) getting smoothies after TC and they're all smiles. I'm assuming this means things are going well for them so far. I sure hope so. I'm dying for some good TC spoilers :)
