I've probably seen all the original shows several times, so I watched the first of the new one and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to be trying too hard to be funny, even Goodman. The closeness was no longer there. That was enough for me. Don't care if it returns or not.
So sorry for your loss, Bronx Babe. Your Mother's last few days must have been peaceful. You made the right decisions to make her comfortable. Please know you are in my prayers.
BB, I agree with Stacy's post. I volunteered for a Hospice after retiring and when we went through the training we were taught that many times a loved one hangs on because they are waiting to see someone in the hope of resolving an issue, or waiting to just say goodbye to someone.
I was privileged to see Lake Como during a trip to Europe in the 80's. It was very beautiful. My second choice of a perfect place to live, next to the Almafi Coast in Italy.
If you don't want to make your own, stop at Wal-Mart, bakery department, for Patti Labelle cobblers. They come in peach, apple, or berry. Absolutely delish!

That's true of kids, as well. I just saw something last week about kids that don't live in a germ-free home develop a better immune system.
I had to rewatch it again On Demand to pick up on some details I'd missed. When the entire series is available I plan to buy that as well. I do have the original Psycho series, but other than I and 2 they stink. Another thing, Freddie beats the shit out of Perkins IMO.
Yeah, I was caught up in How To Get Away With Murder the first year. Then after I knew everyone had committed murder and there was not one redeeming character, I didn't watch it after that.
