I know this is probably an old question but I didn't keep up with the show. The abuse Christian dished out to Maria was hard to watch. Have these two consummated their marriage? Is it possible Christian is gay or asexual, just not into girls or a relationship?

Hey All. I for one am curious about how things are REALLY going with the couples. Can someone tell me if Cortney has taken Jason's last name yet? I just watch the new show last night. Noticed that Cortney seems to still be wearing the original ring. This makes me a little suspicious, why wouldn't they get their own rings if the married is truly strong? I did notice that Jamie has a different wedding ring.

I used to read the baby chat forum of this show 1st season. They allowed "0" criticism of Dr. Cilona! From what I have read on this board, it seems like the Dr has a favorite this season also. Last season it was Jamie, he was always very defensive of her and not really invested in the others, same thing for the posters there. I am doubtful that the "experts" really do all of the testing that they claim. This season seems even more scripted and fake, I hope they don't do another season if they are just going to hire more actors and just create a show rather than trying to do serious matching.

Admitted,y I have only watch a few clips of this show, I couldn't overwhelming abuse that Maria is being subjected to. I remember a clip where Christian's father was explaining that they wanted to do the show to show how gypsies in a good light, tremendous fail!!! And the fact that they all just laugh or brush it off how Maria is being treated makes them look even worse. I hope there is a way out for her. I'm also surprised that FYI thinks showing this abusive relationship is entertaining.

Does this mean they'll be doing another show also? I hope not because for me I will now question their motives for doing the show. I think they were gung ho for this last one because everyone liked Jason & Cortney so much. But now that her popularity has greatly diminished and the bashing she has taken on social media I'm surprised they would consider another show.

If Jamie did get a job in the entertainment field, she would probably run off with the first hot looking semi-celebrity guy who gives her attention. I think this speaks volumes regarding what Jamie is all about. If Cortney and Jason aren't doing another show perhaps they are serious about their marriage or they are done. I'm glad that Jason pointed "is she going to run to NC whenever things get hard"

So does this mean the marriage is done for Jason & Cortney? I can't see it being any other way if she plans on returning to NC and that's her priority not her marriage. Or does she expect Jason to give up the career he has wanted for so long and just obtained??? <br /><br />Don't know if I can blame the experts about this obvious mistake since It doesn't seem like anyone thought Cortney would turn out to be so selfish and immature. During the experiment Jason was talking to his friend Neph and about how could he trust someone that could be just pretending to be something else other than their real self (something like that). Guess he was absolutely right.<br /><br />I notice on the other thread that because Cortney has been getting so much negative backlash even the expert Dr. Cilona is coming to her defense on that thread.

Cortney is way over her "whim" of this experiment. I think they are already done but keeping up the social media stuff to not give it away. On her Instagram she sounds like she has been really hurt by the things said about her. To the point of Jason's friends even coming to her defense. How naive was she to not think she was going to be slammed for her total turn around in attitude and behavior. I know they could both use the money but there's always a price.

Cortney has shown that her expectations are way too high and she has become way too needy and selfish

[thought Jason's surprise of the new apartment was sweet, but I can't imagine how I would have reacted to all of my stuff being moved while I was gone. The apartment looked great when Cortney arrived but I couldn't help but notice by the end of the episode it was a disaster again. ) How very inconsiderate and immature of Cortney to make a mess of the work Jason did in the apt, plus not care to clean it up. As I said previously, Cortney has really turned out to be quite the brat. Perhaps this is why the family didn't want to be filmed, they knew she wasn't ready. I agree with Minny, if it weren't for the cameras this marriage would be done.

Where's the Cortney that present herself during the experiment as so genuine and mature? Now she's coming across as a whines spoiled brat. Seems like the show has gone to her head if she thinks she can just "bamm" start a makeup line that will be successful. They have a little extra money and instead of paying off her debts she just finds ways to create more debt. She doesn't want to get a job and seems to think nothing of putting this extra burden on Jason. She must not realize that people are already over them and no longer interested, especially with how she is being shown now. I don't see this marriage lasting. Perhaps they've just stayed together for the show/money.<br /><br />I still think Jamie is faking for the show. Previously she had said she hadn't talked to her mother for 6 months. Now she's all upset because she doesn't show up or call. "Me thinks the lady does protest too much"<br />

It's funny how crazy Jamie has turned out to be, hopefully they've done better screening for new new season. The producers should have stuck with amateurs instead of recruiting Jamie for the show. I've always wondered why they wanted her, was it for her looks or previous tv experience. Whatever the reason I don't think this has played out well. The show ended with people loving and believing in Jamie. Now that has changed and fans are finally see her as fake and crazy. They should have left well enough alone and not have done the continued follow up

I am wondering if we're seeing how it all fell apart??? I know their social media pages show them still together and happy but I'm being to think this is only to not give the show away. Cortney is certainly a mess!

There have been several comments on other threads about the weight C has put, perhaps she is pregnant. The drinking could be fake to throw people off. I think it would be unfortunate if she is pregnant at this time. Talk about added stress, especially if things aren't going well. I would hate to see them, or anyone else, staying together because there's a child but the parents aren't doing well in a relationship. As I stated previously I've been disappointed by the Cortney we are now seeing.

I don't see Jamie and Doug being in love. I think Doug's infatuation with Jamie is over and I still think that Jamie is faking for the cameras. This episode, even though they were just sitting there, they just seemed unhappy and pretending. I think any love that Jamie has is for Doug's family life that they have had. I still don't think Jamie is sexually attracted to Doug and to me, Doug is just too constant touchy/feely. Not sure anymore about Jason and Cortney.

I missed the first part of the show but I was reading on other threads that Doug just started a new job. Does anyone know if this was information he gave in the morning interview or in the show? Didnt he just start his previous job right before the show started? Hope new job is a step up. Based on Doug's job history it would be foolish for Jamie to get pregnant so soon unless she plans to be the primary breadwinner, sounds very immature to me.

Anyone wondering when Cortney & Jamie will star using their married names and if they'll ever get their OWN rings?

I think the relationship between Vaugh/Monet was over during the honeymoon but unfortunately they had to play it out for the experiment. So I don't think we seen the real lack of relationship because the producers wanted to keep everyone guessing instead of being honest. Sorry for those that are fans but I'm still not really buying Jamie/Doug. While Doug seems to be a very nice guy I still don't see him as the type of person Jamie could deal with for long. He's kind of a slob when it comes to appearance and doesn't seem to have much going for himself career wise. I agree with Bella, Jamie just seems to be trying too hard to convince people that she is sooo in love with Doug now. Even though they are supposed to be moving to NJ I wonder if Jamie still has her apt in NY? Since they were my favorite of course I want to believe Cortney/Jason are for real. One of the things that have me believing they are for real is the involvement of her family now (according to their social media postings). I don't think they would go along with a charade just to satisfy either of their desire for fame.

Ok, I've been wrong. Jamie and Doug are a perfect match for each other: From the wiping of the face with the dish towel, the finger up the nose, kissing with mouths full of food and/or toothpaste and the dog pooping/peeing all over the house, they seem to be ok with these type of nasty habits (except Doug and the constant poop cleanup). Their apartment has to smell if this is daily, I don't care how much you clean. Theirs is a home I wouldn't want to visit and definitely would never eat anything from their home. Regarding their relationship the unveil gave me mixed thoughts on their relationship. On one hand they showed more of Jamie not wanting Doug to to u her and some of the hurtful things she said but it also seemed that she got very comfortable with him.

Does anyone think the producers care how annoyed many viewers were with the over the top promotion of Jamie and Dr. Cilona's excessive protection and devotion to Jamie? Especially since they got such high ratings?

I was reading the other popular thread and a Jamie fan posted how shocked they were by how much Jamie and Doug post about their personal lives, sounds like it's almost daily. Other's may be right about Doug being fully in on the attention/fame seeking. I can't see his family being too happy about that.

Admittedly I would like a follow up of the couples but I hope it's not constant filming for the next 6 months. I'm hoping it will be like the past 6 where they just catch up with them and have maybe done just a week or so of filming. Anything more I think will be detrimental to J & C's marriage. Of course this would be great for Jamie, I'm sure she'll do all she can to be "top dog" including getting pregnant, not sure how Doug or his family will hold up especially if the relationship is not real.

I so agree. I also mentioned previously that Doug was very different with Jamie at the reunion. In all the previous episodes, he was always touching or hugging her in some type of way. At the reunion he seemed indifferent and somewhat aloof towards her, she was the one doing all of the touching but IMHO he was not recipocating. Sorry, I'm still not buying the relationship, but I could be wrong. Perhaps they will be the ones to stick together (for whatever reason) and Jason and Cortney won't last even though they both say they are in this for a lifetime.
