I completely understand why some viewers might find Grant to be a little much, but the intensity with which he watches the other ninjas compete is kinda adorable. To me, anyway. And my teenage daughters *really* like seeing Grant on the screen, so it occurs to me that his looks might be at least part of the reason he gets so much screen time. :)

It seems like that might have been the case -- or perhaps right before the taping of the upcoming season? (I don't know when they tape.) But Jamie Rahn, Alyssa Beard, and Jessie Graff were all wearing the type of clothes they usually compete in (Jessie had an ANW tank top over hers) so I thought their own competition might have been right around the same time.

I don't understand why Kristi was so bent out of shape about Evan not helping them with the map. As a competitor, you'd think she'd comprehend why, when both teams know they're near the back of the pack, another team wouldn't want to give them the answers. I'd expect that sort of illogical indignance from Jessica, but I was surprised to see it in Kristi. Childish.

Sorry to see this team go, especially after they kicked ass on that Copernicus challenge.

Did anyone else notice that Conor had to take the empty kegs one at a time, while Kristi was taking two? Dang.

I didn't care that much about the proposal, but Jen's huge gasp when she saw Lucas take out a ring was super cute.

These guys didn't have a real shot at the win but they were so pleasant, I hoped they'd stick around longer. They really won me over when they were trading dad jokes with the firefighters. I'm here on the shallow end with you. He's a silver fox.

They seem nice enough, but they'd been circling the drain since the first leg. It was time.

She's always clinging to his arm in their team interviews. I find it irrationally annoying.

I just watched the episode tonight, so I knew about the two-week break. And then I felt like big chunks of the episode were kind of dry, so as it got closer to the end, I was prepared to be annoyed at the cliffhanger--but the fact that we got to see them see each other, and then the faint? Brilliant. Loved. It. Dying for the next episode though!
