Every show needs a villain, and she's a good one. And legit funny a lot of the time!

Head cheese sounds and looks disgusting. I've never tried it. My grandmother used to make something called p'tcha, which is equally disgusting and I never used to eat it. She also made borscht, which I never ate because I don't like beets. But I'd chow down on her fricasee, which is a stew made from chicken feet and gizzards. Also gefilte fish, which is kind of the spam of fish. Most people hate it, but I love it. I'm an adventurous eater, but some things just bother me. Snails, crickets, rattlesnake? I've tried them all. Raw tomatoes? Don't even want it on my plate.

I would try that. I generally enjoy meat pies, or as we call them around here, empanadas. He had some great lines. "You don't like baseball? Something kind of yeesh about a boy who doesn't like baseball."

Totally agree. Before this episode, I thought Harold and the actor who plays him were one of the better parts of the series. In this episode, he practically rubbed his hands together like an evil fly. The parts in Vegas were at least visually interesting, but otherwise this episode was a dud.

Tripe doesn't really taste like anything, it takes on whatever sauce you put on it. Still, the idea is pretty disgusting. I've never had kidneys, but my grandfather was a butcher and we'd get entire cow tongues. It's absolutely delicious, but again, I can understand the aversion.

Don't feel bad, if she saw me she'd either run or use the bow and arrow! 😵

I tried tripe once because I heard it was actually good. It wasn't terrible but I didn't like the texture. It's never on a menu and no one makes it for me, so it never comes up. Liver is absolutely vile. My mother would make chicken liver and onions and I couldn't stomach it. Weirdly, I can eat chopped liver and pate. When I was a kid I used to LOVE Hormel chili and Dintey Moore's beef stew. I haven't had either in a while. I also liked Chef Boyardee ravioli and stuff like that.

They look like dog snacks to me. Something about canned meat bothers me. Me too. I rooted for the Titans, and look where that got ol' Nashville.

I'm reading the books for the first time, and I'm up to "The Long Winter." It's very interesting that it's now Laura and Carrie as a team, rather than Laura and Mary. It's also interesting that Carrie is written like a real person, as opposed to the 10 year old toddler we see on the show.

I agree, I'm a fan of the show and 2 hours is too long. They should just do the regular show one hour and then have a separate after show.

I'm kind of rooting for Buffalo to take the whole thing. 0 chance of that happening. I'll root for the Titans because I have no horse in that race.

You're nothing if not polite! I have to say, the "at home" edition of Talking Dead is even worse than the regular flavor.

Well, it lived up to its hype - "Halloween Dream" was just as awful as suggested. The only redeeming moment? They played "Hava Nagila" at the end.

For those of you who might be interested (I'm betting that's not a huge number,) AMC is showing the WD Christmas special next Monday night/Tuesday morning at midnight. It was only on AMC+ before.

Given the choice, I will definitely pick Shannon!

So in my quest to watch the most maligned episodes, starting with the orangutan one and then "The Godsister," tonight I shall watch "Halloween Dream." I wonder if it's as offensive as the premise indicates. I'm still not watching anything with Nancy or Shannon Doherty.

So I watched it last night. Yep, same show, same stereotypical characters. I'm kind of glad they're back. Was this filmed during COVID? It doesn't look like they're taking any precautions, but maybe they have a closed set. I liked the after-show. Are they going to have different guests every week?
