But damn did Cookie play that part!!! I couldn't do it either.

Somehow I don't think this is what God had in mind.

Pastor Eric, of La Mesa, CA, is struggling to juggle his religious obligations and his family’s finances.

I felt horrible for Aaron. I kinda figured that's what they were saying, that his friend/business manager was stealing. How do you make over $30,000 per month and live in a regular apartment. Did you notice the business manager was driving a BMW. Did Aaron even have a car. Plus, who was getting the checks? I was so happy he fired that guy. With friends like that...but yes, I am surprised Victor didn't say fire him. The guy from Bar Rescue would have! Another thing, so I guess the other siblings, including very famous and rich Nick, we're going to let the parents go to jail? Otherwise, why did Aaron carry the responsibility for them fraud case? Those parents are shitty.

I'm so glad y'all are talking about this show. I've been bugging everybody to find someone who has been watching. Part of me is seriously inspired by watching these stories. Not because I cam comforted by the misery but because Ibsee I am not the only one struggling from bad decisions. What's the saying about not being able to fix what you don't acknowledge. The other part was mortified at how vulnerable you have to be to get help. On to this show though- O M G!!! What the f are they thinking. I was DONE at them buying a time share six months ago - after not paying the mortgage for two years. Plus, the rental house is 2,200 per month and they were suffering when they had the house he owned for like 1,500 or something. But now you have both! What the f! Their attitudes sucked. I was so happy when the experts, the lawyer and Victor, said they could not help them get financially together. Not because I don't hope they get it together, but because it gave the show and its host credibility. The experts seem to have integrity. Why were they trying to get other people to co-sign that bankruptcy scam they were pulling!!!! And, did y'all see they have six kids together. Goodness gracious. Now mind you, no hypocrisy here because I am the first to say my student loans are horrible, and no/maybe a little judgement but how can they not see their faulty thinking? Did y'all see where she said she was homeless after her business faltered. So this is your thinking AFTER homelessness?

Y'all talking about Dime's ass, did you not see K. Michelle's! I really like her, but that is ridiculous. -

She is thirsty. -
Darn I forget there are four girls in the house. What's the deal on the fourth one whose name no one knows. She is boring. Why doesn't she get play?
-
At this point I am embarrassed for Kailah. She just doesn't value herself or her body. And, Dionne making remarks about her thirst is bad. What is she thinking?

This was a solid episode. 1. Hated the netting and the ugly, cheap blue stoles Cookie wore to the awards. Reminded me of Whoopie Goldberg's character in Ghost. Her other outfits, particularly the fur with the black knee-high boots were sassy. 2. I liked the exchange between Cookie and Lucious about nobody wanting Lucious' fat ass and Lucious missing her booty. Of course, according to him, he is fat in the right places. Side note: All men think they are. Poor things. Moving on...great chemistry between these two! Unlike some, I want the two of them to have a HEA. 3. Can't stand homo-thug. Just cause you almost get caught, you don't have to be so vicious! Again, and again. Work on a new cover okay. 4. Albeit cruel, I can see where Lucious was coming from in his speech and that it pained him to say the things he was saying to Jamal. Finally some good tears. Jamal just won't listen. 5. The acting tonight was strong. A lot of emotions conveyed. By all. 6. Whew, that Carol and Grandma. What the hell!!!! Carol been in the game long enough to not snitch when she's drunk. When Cookie finds out! What took the guards so long to get her out of there anyway? 7. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Cookie go to Lucious to protect the family from Gathers? She's responsible, too, if we follow her train of thought. 8. Poor lil tink tink. Hakeem's fiancé just doesn't have the "it" factor and, so sad so sorry, she's not going to be around much longer. Yippee! 9. Glad Rhonda is realizing it was Anika, but she done shown the cards in her hand. Anika knows she knows. IMO it was Anika who pushed her down the stairs. 10. FBI guy is not my type, but as some have mentioned, he has a little something something going on. I see the appeal.

Boom! She is seriously backed-up! He betta keep his mouth shut. Well, maybe not- compensate. If THAT don't work, something else betta! -
I thought this also. After she said it, Rhonda looked at Anika strangely, as if she also realized what Anika said.

Three things: 1. Why would Jalonda let that kid wear earrings to court? 2. Why is Rhonda acting like a gift of 10k is a lot? Uh they give Range Rovers on Sweet Sixteen. I mean, you say you the shizz nik. Also, shouldn't he already have that in his account? 3. What's with the provocative swimsuit Rhonda wore? An aside: Her husband seems like a punk. -

I am piecing my responses because I am catching up on the series. I really like it. It reminds me of what I could've been. But I can't stand Rhonda. Even if you are sheltered, you learn the answers to the questions she's pretending not to know from cable tv. Oh, she didn't watch Idris on The Wire? Girl, bye. I can be prissy-and my ass is faking. Takes one to know one. -

Maybe the clients have already had the cases decided and these are reenactments? I couldn't imagine letting a show like this do my story while it is ongoing. -

I cringed when Rhonda was talking about her lack of dancing skills. She's trying so hard to create and maintain an image. Too hard. -
Why is Dean pushing up on Khaliah now? Dude! That is wrong on several levels. And to add insult, didn't Dione imply on the after show that she was open/fast/nondiscriminating/house whore?! He is a horrible person. It is not enough to sleep with her and dump her, but you have to mistreat her, regularly too?
-
It is the camping episode, but she put more care in packaging the green sauce for Gigi. So we know she KNOWS how to present.

I just heard what Juanita's client is in trouble for. He hit someone, killed the person, and ran on foot away? Ouch. That's big. Now, did Juanita not prep her client for the stand? That kid crying, whew, that hurt to watch. Still watching episode. Will be back. -
This is a good line of questions and thought. While she might have bonafide mental issues, her speech blaming Lucious and remembering she PURPOSELY tried to kill him says something different to me. A mental break is one thing. A premeditated attempted murder something else. Yes, they don't have to be mutually exclusive, but to remember and then repeat it 20 years later?

They were cute, but Lord knows I don't need no extra fabric added to all THIS.

Yeah, Ms. Uggams was awesome. But that bitch "Grandma Leah" gotta go. Oh, Thirsty!!!!

If Loving You Is Wrong - General Discussion

I thought that, too. They never said who she was, but what's up with Kelly just popping by unannounced? And, remember how she was with Justin? I guess her crying cause she imagined there was more to the relationship makes sense in retrospect. -
Especially since Lucious said Juanita lived there. So where is she? Well we know granny is a goner. She has no idea what she created - literally.
