  1. What did I just watch?  I loved Dark, so looking forward to more.  Feels very Twilight Zony.  Also very reminiscent of Lost, with all the characters having their own secrets that we will learn as the story progresses.

KC is the face of the show. He's probably the reason a big chunk of the audience watches, and Yellowstone is the anchor for the 47 spinoffs Sheridan is creating by the week.

I'm looking forward to Yellowstone 2123, where the ranch is now run by android Duttons.

The dinner scene between Kendall and Logan with Logan using his own grandson as a t

I kept picturing Logan dressed as Henry the Eighth in that scene. 😄

What a truly loathsome man.  He has no love for anyone.  All he cares about is his own ambition.  His kids are only useful to him if they do his bidding, or if one of them is good enough to take over his empire eventually.  Otherwise, he wants them out of his way.

  4. I love how Kendall can go from being a man like in that Senate hearing and when he did the press conference, to being a complete doofus with those PR people.  He's definitely a guy who can have great and lucid moments, but you would  never want running things day to day.

  5. I'm not a vegetarian and enjoy a good New York strip steak, but even I couldn't handle the nightly carnivore platter at the Duttons.  Can I at least have some corn or apple sauce or something?

My hate for bad hair Beth continues to grow this week.  Just leave Jamie alone.  How does she not know that woman that works for Silver Hair?  Isn't she supposed to be in the know about all things?

I have no sympathy for spineless Jamie since he is a murderer and deserves every bad thing that happens to him.  But Beth is just a miserable hateful shrew.  Yes, you can't have kids and Jamie is responsible.  Go adopt a baby if you want one so bad.  The writers do the same tired loop with Beth every season.  Be a nasty bitch to everyone, say inappropriate and incestuous-sounding things to dad, then run to Rip and cry and act vulnerable so we can sympathize with her.  And in the season finale she gets beat up, raped, set on fire or blown up so we can sympathize with her more, before being a mean bitch again at the beginning of the next season.

  7. A shame no one nailed it on the showstopper.  I did like the contestants this season.  Matt and Noel have grown on me the last couple of seasons.  I'm actually sorry to see Matt go.  Did Paul really want to charge Sandro for his book?  Seriously?  Good grief!

I don't understand why Monica didn't have Tate driving. She almost killed 4 people that night.  I'm not being an asshole, but come on, how in the fuck did she expect to drive and have contractions. Tate should have been driving. He has lived on a ranch and is Kasey's son, he would know how to drive. She needs to stop treating him like he's 2.

Because the whole thing was contrived.  Monica is the tragic soap opera heroine on this show.  This is the second major accident she's been in.  The first one almost left her paralyzed.  Tate could have driven, like you said.  She could have called an ambulance.  Why was she driving like a bat out of hell?  She knows you need to drive cautiously on those rural highways.  Those were some mighty contractions!  And why was she thrown fifty feet from the car?  No seat belt?  Would she even be alive?  The whole thing was, the writers decided they didn't want a baby on the show, and it was a great excuse to toss another tragedy Monica's way.

I'm so sick of Caesar acting like all these Ukrainian women need to be "saved" by him, and I fucking hate Tania.

Yeah, I can't believe I agree with Natalie for once.  Yes Caesar, you are insulting Ukraine.  You act like all the women there are these sad and pathetic creatures living in squalor and praying that they can come live in a "real" country like the U.S.  And that opinion has nothing to do with the current war going on.  The reason this guy looks for foreign women and doesn't date locally is because he's a loser with nothing to offer, and no one is interested.

  10. That was sort of anticlimactic.  I figured the BB team would win early on when the other two teams kept making mistakes.  Derek and Claire are nice and all, but I never rooted for them.  I never root for teams made up of players from the other CBS reality shows.  For me, they've had their 15 minutes so move on already.  But CBS has this weird idea that more people will watch because they recognize players from their other shows.  I'm not interested in people who do reality shows for a living.

The final challenge didn't play well for me, pardon the pun.  Other memory challenges were very easy to follow and you could see right away if the teams were getting things in the right order or not.  On this one, I just saw a blur of images when they stepped on the keys and couldn't tell if they had the note order right or not. Then when they were messing up I didn't know if it was because they had the notes wrong or were just messing up or going too slow.  I also kind of figured, if they knew they were going for the theme song, why did they even need the images?  Just work out the melody.  Not only that, when they eventually got it right I couldn't make out the Amazing Race theme.  I heard some random notes followed by, "Correct!"  Eh okay.

Grand Ole Opry was one of the great Amazing Race finish locations.

  11. So the final episode was mainly montage, music video, and metaphor.  It was also ten minutes shorter than the usual episode.  They really didn't have any story left to sustain a final episode.  There was no big reveal coming, no showdown with a Big Bad, no plot threads to resolve.  It was alright as an epilogue and a social commentary.  But they really could have simply added fifteen minutes to the previous episode and wrapped it up there.  That's what happens when you have an episode commitment to make and not enough material to fill the last episode.  The final scene in the previous episode with Patrick's death to me was the finale.  I applaud Murphy's effort this season.  It was very earnest and heartfelt.  As a miniseries about the destruction caused by AIDs it was terrific.  But as a horror story it didn't really work for me.

  12. I didn't even watch this episode, just read about it here and watched some YouTube commentary.  This show now promotes blatant abuse and I won't even hate-watch that.  I won't watch tomorrow either.  Sister Wives needs to go and TLC needs to stop thinking about their Nielsen numbers for once.  The whole premise of this series has been completely exposed as a sham and Kody, Robyn, and Meri are nothing but grifters.  Rotten people.

  13. Kody keeps talking about their church.  I thought their church kicked them out.  When was the last time they congregated with their church, 2012?  I would think their church would excommunicate the lot of them for faking polygamy on television lol.  It's just a married guy and his ex-wives.
