They could have, but he could have lied about it. That's information that Dom would have had that he could have used to throw people off.

Very true. Still getting a hang of the show. I'll admit the whole quiz concept threw me off in a major way. When I watched the first episode around 1 am, I just assumed whoever got the most votes to be the mole would be eliminated just cause I was thinking about Survivor and Big Brother.

  2. This is the first time I've ever watched this show, so forgive my ignorance. But if The main concern of not bringing Dom back was because he would have information that they didn't couldn't they just have flat out asked him who he thought the Mole was? I mean, you still wouldn't have to bring him back, but you could use that info. Not sure if that's against the rules or anything.

I also don't know if the gold ledger was pretty easy to figure out and Kesi was hiding something or if it was just easy  to figure out cause they highlighted it for us.

I am enjoying the show so far, so I'm glad Netflix brought it to my attention.

Oh, and I guess my other general question is do they make it so the Mole can't be voted out? Haha, now I realize how dumb of a question that is as the Mole would know all the answers to the quiz. That's what I get for staying up all night to watch this.

  3. Someone either here or on Reddit put this in a list for things to watch after OMITB. Glad I checked in today since the finale is coming up. I'm enjoying it, but glad I glanced through this forum a bit before getting too invested in the mystery. IMO Time Travel is either very good or very bad (I am not a huge fan of sci-fi, so that is just a personal preference] so I at least know not to go too crazy with the details.

Haven't read too much about the series in general. Id there a season two pick up already?

I thought I saw Lester and Howard at the opening night, in the row behind MS, SM, and SG.

I want Lester in the play as well, so I will just imagine it's scripted that he enters from the audience.

In addition of course, there was no way whatsoever to think of this before last second in episode 9, when she herself, we don't know why, incriminates herself saying "I am Becky".

The only reason I can think of for her to do this is that some killers want to get caught to be famous/infamous (words that Charles mentions in S2 E1] Normally, this is more a serial killer trait. Poppy does say she knows where the "bodies" are buried. It doesn't seem like there's a large gap in time between Ok in OK and the beginning of OMITB, so it seems unlikely that Poppy has killed more people, but who knows what they'll throw at us? Is Poppy also secretly Jan? 😉

Charles didn't even use they scary type of tomato, he had to squeeze it to get any juice out. Everybody knows the scary ones have the reddish-green seed blobs that ooze out as soon as you cut it!

Agreed, but maybe they were going for the slow burn.

I guessed that Becky was probably right next to Cinda in the bar and that's who Kreps was looking at and that everyone was in on the stabbing.  (Although maybe they weren't?  They seemed surprised when he came up alive.)

I think they were all in on the stabbing. My reasoning for this is I think when Uma was calling 911, she was really on the phone with Detective Williams to let her know when Poppy confessed and they could come in.

  8. Rewatching at the moment, some of these points, I have made/heard elsewhere:

Did Will know Oliver was lying? If so, what's Oliver's tell?

Poppy being one of the bodies that are buried leads me to think that Alice is another of the bodies. Maybe Alice was under Cinda's thumb just like Poppy and the puzzle with the OK poster was to send Mabel in the right direction.

Fiona Apple's "Criminal" is a great song. I think cinda/Poppy are the "bad, bad girl" who's been careless with a delicate man, Kreps.

    To be continued...

  9. I was pretty sure that Will would be Teddy's son when it first came up. Figured it was true when he announced it by just walking in and telling Mabel and Charles and not having a typical Oliver style celebration with more pizazz.

Would love to get my hands on all the elevator security camera footage. Between Tim/Jan, Charles and now Oliver/Teddy, those lifts seem to be a voyeur's dream.

I know it's just an issue of time, but it took Jan like 15 seconds to get from her place across the courtyard to Charles' place. Do we know what floor Jan lives on? It's below 1O cause she got on the elevator after the group. Just curious. I can only hope there's some kind of secret passage. J/K

    Spoiler for season 2:

    Spoiler

Wow! I guess I should have been more careful about my hopes.

Also doesn't an ankle monitor keep you confined to a specific place? Or are there now modern ones that let you roam as you please so long as your location is being broadcast to the authorities at all times?

You shouldn't be allowed to roam around. You're supposed to make a weekly schedule with your PO about where you  going to be and when. It certainly does not include trips to Coney Island.

To me, "so to speak" implies Cinda is neither a murderer, nor someone who would hire a murderer. Right?

Man, I do love this show for allowing the audience to interpret things in different ways. I sort of took "so to speak" as Poppy realizing that she may have said too much.

I want to trust Poppy and root for her going independent + getting revenge, but I'm wary that this is an attempt to fool Mabel into giving Poppy information, either to serve Poppy's independent interests or to prove her worth to Cinda.

This could be true, (i.e worth to Cinda] but if it is I'll be a little disappointed. I truly hate when shows/movies show something for just the viewers for the sake of throwing them off. In this case it would be Poppy breaking the pencils, tipping the mic, etc. There's no reason for her to do those things except for us as an audience. It's also from Poppy's perspective, so it should not be unreliable.

Now, they could explain it in a future episode. Maybe Poppy claims that someone broke into the studio trying to steal something/find dirt on Cinda and Poppy scared them off. IDK

I only moved to western NY in 2021, and currently live in Greece, adjacent to Charlotte. My daughter's in-laws live in Newark, and yes, that's Newark, NY, not Newark, NJ, where Mom was born and raised. I see there's also a Rome and a Berlin.

Totally. I didn't think about it either. I have family spread all over the states and have a weird obsession with checking weather where they live. Always weird typing in their cities and having a list of ones in other states pop up. How many Trentons does America need?

Also, glad it's not Newark NJ. Been awhile since I've been east and had to catch the SEPTA from Trenton to NY, but Newark, NJ did not look inviting.

Get creative America! More ZZyzx! Or at least all the porny names of towns in Central PA.

When I was a kid before we moved to Chicago, we used to got to Point Pleasant, NJ for a couple of weeks in the summer.

I used to go to Point Pleasant as a kid, too. That and Barnegat Light. Then as a teenager switched to Seaside/Heights cause of the cheap motel rooms. Thankfully pre Jersey Shore years, but still not classy.

I still don't know what Denver they're in, but I'm excited to find out!

If her family was there I think it would make sense. She might have gone out there to have the baby.

You also aren't supposed to fly that late in a pregnancy as there are risks. If Kreps had chosen a location that wasn't halfway across the country maybe I'd believe it.
