  1. The story as I remember it: Michelle had 6 under 7. She was in the laundry room doing umpteenth load in the middle of the night when she cried out to god (I feel weird even writing that) for help because she didn't think she could handle the stress. The next day the piano teacher offered to do laundry for her therefor saving Michelle's sanity and enabling her to have 12 more. And a hugely successful and hypocritical reality show. Luckily for us of course.
  2. Eye-roll at Vivian having to mention her "thousands of fans from last year." Whatever Vivian. Courtney: looks fantastic in the uniform. If you don't want girls who are 5'3 make a height requirement. If she weighed 105 pounds she'd be in the hospital. I don't think she should quit her job but I respect her dedication. I was surprised at Kelli's blasé attitude about it. I tried to see who was practicing at 2 - I know I saw Breelan and Lacey, they are both students. Megan: I decided I really like her 2-packs a day voice and thought she looked slamming in the uniform so of course she's gone. I don't agree that every girl needs a Jinelle build; I like variety. I guess Candi Harris should be happy she's not trying out today since she'd be considered disgustingly stocky like poor Megan. Kelli, you're an idiot as well as a bitch. For 2 years they've been telling Britney Schram she's a fatty and for 2 years I've been wishing she'd eat a sandwich. I just don't what their problem with her is. The best was the seamstress advising Veronica to "just eat the prepared food, no desserts." I'm proud of Veronica for not flying across the room and clawing her eyes out. I guess I should thank CMT for this episode for highlighting just how much of a bitch Kelli is and how ridiculous the standards of the DCC are ( and have gotten). Joking about Megans's "Thud?" What does that even mean? The thigh area blends into the underwear area = no butt? I swear, this is the the ultimate sorority from hell. No one's dignity is worth this team. Oh, and I'm sure Loren, who teaches middle school, appreciated having to tell the world and her students that she is surgically enhanced. Seemed like an appropriate and necessary thing to add. ETA: Was it thutt? I guess that makes more sense - thigh and butt. Whatever Kelli, you're still a bitch.
  3. I actually feel like I understand Laurie, Patti, the GR and their motivations better after this episode. I think the character development was great and it was fascinating to see these people as they were before the event. This episode would have had nowhere near the impact if it came near the beginning of the season. I completely disagree with that idea. After being on the fence all season, I very much enjoyed this episode and will watch the show next year. If you experienced this event, everything you thought you knew about the world would be shattered. I can totally understand the idea that, if this happened, everything we used to believe is/was bullshit. That nothing matters and everything is a shitty illusion so there's no point in doing anything except smoke a bunch of cigarettes and wait to die. I can actually understand this mentality when I think about it. Since they don't have an explanation for the event, an event which called literally everything everyone knows into question, the GR has decided no one can move on with their lives and forget this event. I may not agree, but I do understand better. And the idea that the GR was recruiting before the event is fascinating to me. I want to know more about that.
  4. I'll add to the chorus of those pleased with this season - less T&A shots, more getting to know the Rookies, actual dance instruction, no stupid body fat measurement (probably coming next week though). I think this season has definitely been an improvement. Thing I still want to see - more solos, more solos, more solos! Show group auditions and appearances, and more about the vets and how they juggle being on the team with real life. A where are they now segment. More guest choreographers and overall, more dancing shots that last long enough you can actually see what's going on.
  5. Thanks for all the info about Courtney. Too bad about her marriage. I actually think Hannah looked bigger than Veronica. The girl had actual rolls! (granted, only when she was leaning over, "rolls" I would love to have). I literally gasped at how "soft" her stomach was, only because we know how strict the DCC are. Frankly, I think they're ridiculous. I don't see anything wrong with Hannah and Veronica they way they are. I feel like most American men want women with curves not women with the bodies of 10-year old boys (which is what a lot if them end up looking like,IMO). Maybe if the shorts weren't cut to look like unflattering diapers they would be better off. I really can't stand how ugly and terrible the shorts are. Reminds me of a fitting many years ago (it may have even been Sydney) where Kelli said" "these (shorts) look alarmingly low." It was the height of irony because I think they are always alarmingly low and laughably unflattering. Do I really need to see someone's pubic bone Kelli? Do I? It's just gross.
  6. I was watching Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta the other day and I swore I saw Courtney on there. It was about how she was a daddy's girl and needed his approval for the dress. Anyone else ever see this or know if Courtney is married?
  7. I had the same thought about Cassie.... You can add Mary to my "adore" list along with Erica and Melissa. I agree with the poster who saw show group, leader, point, etc. in Melissa's future. I like Loren and Breelan, though Breelan definitely needs new makeup. I actually thought it was cute how she had trouble keeping her emotions off her face. Not good for Kelli and Judy obviously, but it made me like her. Poor Veronica. She's gorgeous and I felt bad when she said all she does is exercise. I saw a picture she posted of pizza (I think) and said it was worth the extra 2 miles. Looks like the fat-shaming of Veronica continues next week. On the other hand, Hannah was weird. She was really soft, and I agree, a bit off. Do you have any tips?! Yeah- stop eating. That's basically the DCC diet to me.
  8. I remember being struck by something while reading through their blog. David had commented under one of the pictures about how big Paul's appetite was, and that it was bigger sometimes than even Pris's. It seemed really off to me that a toddler would be eating more than a grown pregnant woman. Then I thought, maybe she's sick. But then she shouldn't be doing swim challenges at 8 months pregnant! Poor Priscilla. I hope TFDW let her eat enough calories after her swim.
  9. I agree with many posters: was sad to see Alex go and glad to see Morgan go. She really does look 40. I was sad for Courtni too; I always though she was cute. I love Melissa and Erica. I think Melissa might be the best dancer I've ever seen on this show. I wish we could've seen Samantha's solo (and all of them for that matter). It looked unique and amazing from what we were shown. Damn that girl can dance. Kelsey's bitchface at Vivian was funny. I've never really liked Kelsey (and I don't really like Vivian anymore either) though for no real reason. Count me in as one enjoying Melissa R. I've only seen her on Making the Team though so maybe that's why.
