On the Grantland.com "Right Reasons" podcast, Juliet Litman said she thought Lacey's are real. I really WANT this to be true.

There is definitely a physical "type" they cast for - and for the women it is long flowy hair (no wonder they never have Asians on this show!) And the men all seem to have similar haircuts, too. Within the type though, there is variation, and while they never have overweight people of either sex, there is variation in things like height and bust size.

Do you really think they're fake? I don't know how you can say "clearly". I would hope ABC has a policy of no previously cosmetic surgery for contestants on these shows.

Does this show have a deal with Apple to place Apple products? Maybe it's my igamination, but I certainly remember seeing that logo. Stockholm comes across as cool and stylish to Americans; maybe Apple is trying to ride on that.

She's just carefree and bubbly all the time, despite being involved with violent crime cases! Not realistic. I prefer cops with a little more gloom in their souls.

I find The Bachelorette quite boring and hardly ever watch it. They're all so earnest. The Bachelor is better because there are a bunch of women throwing themselves at a guy and I can vicariously experience it by putting myself in his shoes. But it's really too earnest, too. Bachelor Pad - and it looks like Bachelor in Paradise - is just so over-the-top ridiculous that it's fun.

That Jen Fiero (the librarian from MI) is a realy cutie-pie. (I root for the best looking contestants.)
