If Aemond is a bully for talking shit and deserved to get his eye put out for that ( cuz contrary to popular belief, he got his eye put out for calling them bastards not for threatening their lives), then yes they were bullies for taking part in that pig prank. As for the war itself, it was a foregone conclusion, the only thing rhaenyra was doing was making sure she had the backup, which Id be shocked if the Starks dont give her the required manpower. Even if one believes that maybe that page would magically get her to give up her claim, a hot head like daemon almost surely wouldve done something to get them into the war.

The fact that the hightowers were clearly running the kingdom in viserys's absence and both Rhaenyra and daemon saw this and said sounds reasonable to me and peaced back out to dragonstone knowing Viserys was on the verge of death demonstrates had much they sucked at the game. Otto's legit not that good at the game, the other sides just been that bad.

Unless we get new married couples in season 2, I reckon thats the last of the miscarriage scenes we'll be seeing since Id imagine these people would be too busy warring to make babies.

Same issue as with Larys, he's more loyal to Alicent than Otto Dragons are faster than ravens and rhaenys left right for dragonstone as soon as she could. Perhaps a city watch soldier couldve sent something sooner but it wouldve been maybe a couple hours difference at best.

Who's killing them? Unless Otto has some pretty ass feet, Larys wont do it cuz Alicent didnt want that. The city watch is more loyal to daemon than the hightowers, so unless the kings guard suddenly loses their mind and decided to commit treason, I dont think Otto wwouldve been able to take over that way. Just looked up that show and the helena actress is also on it. Likely explains their chemistry

Im thinking its going to be about Alicent and Rhaenyra getting corrupted to the point that by the end of this series, we wont even recognize the women they were at the beginning. Agency wise, I can see Rhaenyra getting more, the longer she becomes queen, but Alicent is already a robot. She's already selling sexual favors (minor as they may be), I can only imagine how bad it'll get once she starts wanting real favors

Id say its all in what kind of king you want. Aemond is just Daemon, Aemond just doesnt know that yet. They're war time kings, all about the respect consequences be damned. Daemons just the worst option at the moment cuz he knows what hes capable of, while Aemonds still a pup. Would they be horrible options for king? Definitely Still would prefer them over Aegon who has no idea how to rule and will likely have a court of corruption which would take years to recover from. Rhaenyra is her fathers daughter, way too conciliatory for her own good. The fact that she was seemingly ok with the hightowers ruling in her father's name and that she was even considering the green's offer tells me shed be a pushover which would be tragic in quite a different way. Plus would likely also have the same corruption problem. Jace might be the best choice from either side depending on how he chooses to learn and apply his lessons. He doesnt completely seem to be on board with his mother, but he also seems to know theres a time and a place for everything. So I guess all hail king Jace?
