Thanks LilyD. Although I can sympathize with Turtlepower and having not experienced anything like this, I do tend to think that Robyn has contributed to some of this problem also. Parents need to prepare children for the world, and disappointment is a big part of life. A rental home is never going to be permanent. I dont buy into the "worse thing you can say is"... but that's just me I speak my mind but also like to think I am pretty caring towards people also.

I've lived in my rental apartment for 25 years now. I love it, my landlord is awesome (and hands off unless there's an issue), plus there's no way I can afford to buy in my area with the median hovering at around $2 million.

    It's definitely my home.

Gee, thanks Janelle, but no thanks.

She looks better in the picture than she usually does...a lesson in filtering one's photos, as her dear sister wife Meri does?  😜

I call bullshit on her sugar cravings being in the past. Plus, it sounds like she's just spouting a plexus script.

Wow, that picture is very disturbing.  She's very cute but there is a serious issue developiing with her weight.  I highly doubt that they are working with a pediatrician (or listening to advice) if she is being fed what we are seeing in the pictures.  At first she looked like a roly poly baby but now it's shocking.

I wonder if she is getting comments from her IG followers.

I'm just amazed that people on Reddit aren't even mentioning it. They call her a "cute chunky baby". She IS cute, but to me she's obese at not even a year old. I too find it disturbing.

She's a lovely baby but in the video Mykelti posted today in her "Stories" Christine is holding Avalon and she is very definitely overweight. It's not just normal roly poly baby fat. Her stomach protrudes. It's not quite as visible in these still photos.  I may get pilloried for stating this but it's a fact. They must be overfeeding her terribly and it's so unhealthy.

    I agree with you.

  5. I think what she's trying to convey here is that it doesn't matter what you eat as long as you're swilling Plexus. Ha yeah right.

I like that she added that she's not trying to get "skinny" she's after "wellness" translate that to mean don't expect to see any after photos of Janelle any time soon because it's not about weight loss doncha know. Of course for 99% of interested people it is most definitely about weight loss.

If Isabelle works at Starbucks, as the photo that @ginger90 posted suggests, there could be some interesting twists:

    • Did she leave Flagstaff for college, only to attend Arizona State University online via the Starbucks employee benefit?
    • Were Evie's clinginess and smashed muffin both directly related to Isabelle?  Maybe Evie missed her mother figure, and Maddie took her to Starbucks, where she was rewarded with a muffin to smash apart.

I'm happy to hear that Ysabel is actually working. No shame in being a barista.

ETA wow that sofa is filthy.

    Re. Christine and her MLM’s:

Whilst I agree with you about all that was said about MLM’s, I can’t help but wonder if she has any other option? Please correct me if I’m wrong though, I’m just going by what I see around here in Western Europe. Here, a woman in her late 40s (or older) that lacks education and work experience is at a very, very big disadvantage on the job market. I dare even say she won’t stand a chance at all!

The jobs that are there and won’t require much experience or a degree are taken up by youngsters like high schoolers or students, simply because they are a lot cheaper (youth wages). Christine would be too expensive here. With luck, you would be able to find something through your network or you could try to start your own business.

With that in mind, Starting your own business and using your ‘fame’ seem like a smart move. An MLM would be able to combine both and if she’s pretty high up the ranks as some suspect, she’ll be able to provide for herself.

Right now in the US or at least where I live there's a job surplus - not enough people to fill them. Christine could find a job if she wanted to. She could take a coding class and get a decent paying job - there's tons of tech in Utah from what I've read, my employer even has an office in Lehi. She just doesn't want to, and clearly she DGAF about signing people up under her who are going to be part of the unsuccessful 99%. Because the way you make $$ in MLM is recruiting. Rather than sales.

JMO but she seemed kind of nervous… she was talking a mile a minute and when she demonstrated how she makes her drink she tore the plastic tubes open with her teeth and sort of struggled with the first one, dumped it in the cup, tore open the next one with her teeth dumped it in, scooped some collagen…. All the while talking really fast… then she stressed using cold water because warm water will kill the active ingredients or something, she tossed in ice cubes then used a milk frother to mix it… she fiddled around with that and couldn’t decide if it was mixed enough or not… then popped on the lid and started sucking it down with her eyes bugging out.

she was stressing how it kills her appetite and gives her lots of energy so she doesn’t need to eat…. All I could think was… she’s guzzling chemicals instead of eating 🤷‍♀️

Sounds like a speed freak to me. I wonder what her blood pressure is.

Nobility has nothing to do with it.  The sight and sound of those people makes me physically ill.  Watching is not requisite for posting.

Also, I unplugged from cable quite some time ago and don't miss it. I'm not going to re-up just to watch the Boring Ass Brown family.

Especially since most stuff is posted on SM by the family a year in advance.

I remember the meeting they all had where Meri wanted money to buy the B & B.  Weren't they talking about some family pot they dipped into for large expenses?

I think that was just for the show. They might have had a communal pot years ago, but I think if they still do (doubtful especially now with Christine's departure) that is just the show money.

Meri already knew how she was going to finance the purchase: have her mom sell her home, give Meri the proceeds in exchange for living at the B&B. I doubt that the home selling covered the entire B&B purchase but it probably went a long way towards the down payment.

I admit to being shocked that it was Christine to leave first, although Meri hasn’t been part of the family for years.

Since this show is always years behind, I think it’s entirely possible Christine announced her intention to leave months ago, if not a year ago. She just waiting to get herself together, let ysabel heal and graduate from high school. I think this gives them at least two more seasons. This season will be the final breakdown and Christine announces her intention to leave and one season of house everyone is coping with Christine having left. They likely released their statements today since the new season is about to start.

My guess is this is pretty much the end of Kody’s relationship with his kids with Christine. I can’t see them going to see them very often. Won’t Gabe be the only one left in Arizona? And isn’t he in college? I can’t see Gabe spending his free time Kody and Robyn.

Gabe is Janelle's son. You must be referring to Gwen.
