I had to pick up a prescription yesterday and the entire CVS stunk of weed and cigarettes. I own a gas mask and felt like I should have been wearing it. It almost made me throw up.
It’s like that here too 😞 I just wish more people would opt for edibles…

I don’t watch the show, but I will watch Christine’s cooking video. Just based on the 30 second preview, I think there’s going to be actual cooking with real ingredients. Not mock tapioca or fish stick tacos.

i still think that the down payment came from Meri's mother. She sold her house around the same time...I can totally see it as a trade off. Meri gets her B&B, Mom gets a nicer place to live (I remember the listing photos of the home and it really needed some work), and home goes back to the family. This is also why Meri's mom rather than Christine's ended up being the hosteas.
I really think the "loan" was just a story line. There was never any intention of giving Meri a cent. Plus, I don't think they have it lying around anyway. The intention was always to have Meri's mom fund it.

When Kody took Sol out to see the huge water tank installed underground the writing was on the wall! That big tank is for one big house not four or five.
Kody Brown and family are all liars. That's their reality!
Not a peep about permits, etc. Zoning would probably be difficult too as I doubt the neighborhood would be on board with such a property. If memory serves that would all be public record. Water cisterns are all well and good but they would still need to get those property lines redrawn, and oh yes buy out Christine's ownership percentage. I'm guessing that IF she made any money from the sale of her Vegas home a significant percentage got sunk into the purchase of Coyote Pass. She's entitled to her share as well as any appreciation of the value. Probably need to get an attorney involved.

I think she was hoping for a payday. All of the other women Overton scammed with the Sam persona were taken to the cleaners financially.

She has attempted to distract from her part by bringing up other victims and even Mariah has said something along the lines of “I think she forgot I was there for the whole thing”. I just cannot feel sorry for such a fake, selfish, untruthful person. To this day she is faking her existence.
Oh and this? This voicemail made me nearly want to puke— Meri awkwardly saying “baby” over and over again. Pretty sure Kody has heard all of these, given his demeanour towards Meri who, I suspect, hasn’t genuinely claimed any responsibility. I think she would deserve some pity had she been more honest about it.
Edited to add: I don’t think Meri was “sorry” she did this, I think she was devastated “Sam” wasn’t real (even though she was told to watch out). So she had to go back to her miserable life after losing a huge gamble. I think she’s scared of leaving now and is still trying to win her way back into Kody’s heart as if this never happened, even though she was unhappy before.
I do agree both Robyn and Kody know this about Meri. Meri is not the strong, “boss lady” she claims to be.
I remember this well. I was an active participant on CJ's blog at the time and IIRC we started following this in early March right about the time it all started with the Disney pics of Meri and JO. People on Twitter were practically screaming at Meri that it was all bullshit, but she refused to listen! It didn't help matters when Robyn's former "friend" Kendra got involved and swore Sam was real. That lady seriously has a couple of loose screws.

The source tells Us that Janelle has observed the positive impact breaking up had on Christine, 49, who married Kody in 1994.
“She sees how happy Christine is now that she’s ‘free’ from Kody and is strongly considering separating from him too,” the insider added. “Christine and Janelle are very close and they have conversations about it.”
The estranged couple confirmed their split in November 2021. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” Christine wrote via Instagram at the time. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”
The salesman added in his own statement: “Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”
After their split, another source told Us that Kody was concerned about the others following Christine. “If anything, it sort of inspired the others in one way or another to reevaluate their position,” the insider revealed at the time. “[Janelle’s] really close to Christine, so she’s in constant communication with her. … [Kody’s] trembling and worried that Meri or Janelle are going to leave him.”
Kody is the father of 18 children. Christine is mother to six: Asypen, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11. Janelle, meanwhile, shares Logan, 27, Maddie, 26, Gabriel, 20, and Savanah, 16, with the Wyoming native.

I do NOT think Janelle is thinking at all about leaving Kody, it's clear that the Christine-Kody split happened a year or more ago and they just waited until close to the season premiere to actually announce it.
All those cozy "Al fresco" dinners in front of the RV... Janelle and Kody's Sedona trips...posted on IG during 2021. Oh no, no matter how shitty Kody treats her kids, passive Janelle isn't going anywhere.

The book was on the bestseller list for a few weeks 11 years ago. I would hope most people who are interested in it would buy it used or get it at the library. At most they probably get maybe $1 for every new book sold and I think that's an overestimate.

And she doesn't help clear plates or offer to do the washing up either. She did the same when they were visiting the Dargers'. Most people have the courtesy to ask the host how they can help, but not Robyn.
Why should anyone be surprised? She's too pretty to cook, therefore she must also be too pretty to clean.
