April's not interesting enough a character to be a shitty person and have you continue to root for her. The actress is beautiful, but so what. I hope Choi and Will find love elsewhere. Dr. Marcel is terrible, I don't know who would find him appealing... if the showrunners wanted to shake things up, they should have had April get involved with Dr. Latham. Unfortunately he wouldn't stoop that low, and it would be a nonsensical twist, but at least he'd be a series regular.

I'm sure they wanted the David vs. Shaun battle to be head to head... but they also took a strong season and put the tribes way out of balance and destroyed Harry's gameplay. Love the season so far, but I hope this doesn't derail it after the inevitable drama fallout from the fake idol.

I think the cliffhanger about Daya's fate might be the strongest evidence the show may return in some form in the future. Whether a revival in a few years or a feature film. It makes no sense why they wouldn't fill in that gap, if there wasn't going to be some sort of sequel.

You can feel like you shouldn't bring more people into a fucked up world, yet also want to care for someone who is already here. I think that was her thinking. What sucks about this thought process... although noble... is that good people are bringing less kids into the world... while the thoughtless continue to bring more and more... creating a stupider and more terrible world overall.

Hellman is warden because this is a cautionary tale about the current political climate under which we all live. It's inconceivable that he could be running that facility to a decent person yet people like he and Litvack are currently in power... not the Tamikas and the Caputos. The show is a call to action and although it would be nice to see them live happily ever after it wouldn't make sense given the existential threat the current administration poses to our country and the world.

I don't know if it's because it's lean times for the television viewer right now, but I found the final season really moving. I liked pretty much everything except Piper and Alex and the ridiculously clumsy metaphor of using the Chicken Run Hamsterdam to represent the Stanford Experiment nature of human beings. It's not that I dislike Piper or Alex as characters... I enjoyed their interactions with other characters in the show... it's just they didn't really have anything interesting to say about them that couldn't have been better explained by Jason Biggs character's take. I really hope they find a way to bring this back. With such a huge cast it's probably impossible and I wouldn't want to see a half ass spinoff show up on Freeform... but we really need this show right now, at least until there's a regime change. If they don't... thank you so much to the cast and production for 7 wonderful seasons.

Al would have probably been a decent man had he not been abused as a child, and I think he was implying this world was too horrible for him. I think in spite of his brutal Machiavellian nature he had a compassionate side and was only the product of his environment. It doesn't really make sense in the sense that God would have created this world, but I felt like it was something along the lines that angels or the idea of pure righteous God are too good for this world.

I like Villanelle and Eve individually, but they have grown tiresome with their unbelievably contrived attraction for each other... I also thought that Hugo was a one dimensional waste of time. Jodie and Sandra and the actress who plays Carolyn are very entertaining so I'll continue watching for the humor... but I don't buy the idea that otherwise intelligent women would behave so stupidly... there's not enough history or even a short fling to create such an obsession... and even the whole psychology behind it rings false for both characters.

Of course I got that part... I just didn't think fascism was the message they were trying to convey. He was summarily executing people in the street after they had surrendered. I'm surprised that they are trying to build a better world and that issue wasn't addressed.

I don't get why Grey Worm had so much power just because of his personal vendetta against Cersei. I understand that the Unsullied were crucial to saving Westeros, but is the message really that one can have a semi democracy as long as you kiss the military's ass, no matter if they are right or wrong? It's interesting that Arya is heading West, Jon is heading North... was Drogon heading east with Dany's body? Is Naath to the South? Hopefully we'll find out in a few years.

So his brother is King of Westeros, his sister is Queen of the North, his other sister is Christopher Columbus... and Jon Snow still has to stay with the Night Watch? Grey Worm needs to get a grip... I predicted Sansa and Tyrion would rule at the end so I was satisfied that I sort of got it right. Decent ending that seemed to build up to the possibility of a sequel so I can't complain. Thanks to all involved for such a great show!

People should never be bullied or pressured to having kids, but when I see two intelligent, decent people decide to have children, I look at it as one more potential voter who might offset the millions of stupid people who have kids who become easily manipulated by the media. Not that educated people aren't manipulated as well... and that latchkey kids can't blossom into amazing people. But it seems to me if conscientious, moral people continue to pass on having children while fools carelessly multiply... it's no wonder why sometimes our democracy seems doomed to failure. I enjoyed the last season of the Big Bang Theory. Unlike The Office, Modern Family, Game of Thrones (so far), some other great series that have had regrettable final runs... this season seemed to capture some of the magic of its early seasons. Thanks to everyone involved in making this show.

I didn't see Angel but Dexter and Lost were bad a long time before the last few episodes. Maybe it's most like Battlestar if the last episode is terrible.

I always liked Dany... but similar to Jon, I always thought of her as a trope more than a fully fleshed out character. Her character almost feels like one of those child stars whose existence was warped by an abnormal childhood. I've rooted for her throughout the show, but I've never thought she'd end up on the throne. I still think it will be Sansa, Arya, or Tyrion.

If you were referring to me, I don't consider myself a vindicated expert. I haven't enjoyed the last two episodes... this one had a couple nice moments but still not great. I only said that the madness has been alluded to throughout the series. The season still feels rushed like Boardwalk Empire's last season.

They could end up with a Northern and Southern kingdom controlled by Sansa and Tyrion. All I know is that a traditional alpha male seems unlikely to be the hero of the story.

Yes, and the most sympathetic male characters are a dwarf and a eunuch. The point of the show is that a world controlled by men are cruel. The Dothraki were nearly completely wiped out

I don't get why people think the show is so misogynist. Two of the three most likely to end up on the Iron Throne are women (Sansa/Arya) and they've alluded to the madness in the Targaryen family since the beginning of the show. Dany is a tragic figure, but she has no support system, or family since Jon betrayed her so if that triggered her madness it makes sense.

Maybe they dig out Cersei alive laying next to Jaime's rotting corpse. That would be a more fitting end.

I'm counting on Russian Doll and The Good Place to unravel the meaning of life before either the environment or nuclear holocaust send us into oblivion or some thoughtless studio executive replaces either with Albania's Got Talent: The Runners Ups. Natasha's a genius... Amy too and the other women whose name I was too thoughtless to memorize. I only wish she would stop her bizarre, affected, Bukowskiesque, Tom Waits like diction that carried over from OITNB... who knows, maybe that's the way she talks all the time but it's distracting and takes me out of her character. Gonna go now to see if she wrote any novels because the script was amazing.

This isn't the cool kind of WTF you get from watching Chris Nolan's movies or the first Matrix. This is if they took the Matrix and stretched it out for two pointless segments and then tacked the ending of Dallas onto the end. Too bad, because it had potential.

This show has some really nice ideas and decent actors and production values... but the characters are so poorly written that I just don't care what happens to any of them. Everyone only cares about their own agenda... even the supposedly more sensitive ones. I suppose the Beekeeper was somewhat likeable but she was as thinly written as a groupie out of Almost Famous. The actor who plays Thale does his moody, brooding act decently, but he doesn't show much of a sweet, sensitive side that might make one empathize with him more. You can tell the actor has it in him to portray him that way... but the writers chose not do much more than present a damaged soul. Rowan is a repulsive character... I didn't like him even before he started his Jack Nicholson in the Shining routine Karl is supposed to be a tragic, obsessed Ahab like genius... but he just comes across as a selfish prick. Mel is okay but she comes across as cold like her perfectly Gattaca constructed persona is supposed to be. Ditto for Roy Lommie is just pathetic to me... she kind of got cool for awhile but now she's back where she started controlled by the mother. Auggie reminds me of Ash from Alien. He's not an android but you always knew he was going to fuck everyone over. I suppose I'll finish but after I got hooked by the first couple episodes... I kind of regret watching it. Won't watch another season unless someone else takes over.

I've been watching the early seasons of Survivor on my tablet while running on my treadmill (that's how I justify watching something over again... as opposed to watching something new) What I'm struck by the most is how much we as a country and culture have changed so much in 17, 18 years. People really feel horrible about lying and betraying other players in the old days... you'll hear a lot of people say in tears... I know I'm going to lose... but at least I'm keeping true to my values. That type of thought is unthinkable in Survivor 2018. The way the game is played today is much more like professional poker... lie like crazy... and shake hands when you screw someone over. Now, I'm not sure if it's only the gameplay that has evolved this way... or if it's indicative of something deeper, more ominous in our society. Are we raising a generation of Machiavellian sociopaths by raising kids on shows like Survivor, Big Brother, The Bachelor? Or is it all just clean fun that has nothing to do with anything other than entertainment? Makes you wonder when you look at what we tolerate in the political arena. So now that the game is played more like a professional sport... I agree that something needs to be tweaked... so much of the drama was generated from seeing a Sue Hawk melt down over what today would be a fairly tame betrayal. I think the only way to do that is casting goats who have an almost antiquated sense of right and wrong... or sheep like Big Brother tends to cast. Given that choice I'd rather watch good strategists... but I really do wonder about the effect of watching people cheat and lie to each other over and over is having on our culture.

Sounds like Mike has gone from being the lovable writer of School of Rock, to a lowkey version of Big Brother's Andy Herren on this thread. I want Davey to win the most probably but I don't hate Mike... I think he's annoying because it doesn't seem like he really knows what he's doing and causing a lot of collateral damage with his amateur play. Whereas Andy was an actual ass... and Mike seems like a nice guy outside of the game.

When you don't have any more old people like Big Tom or Paschal... and you only have 7 people that overthink every single move and you have more than one idol in play at this stage of the game... the game play becomes more like flipping a coin than actual strategy. The Princess Bride analogy was perfect because there is no way to tell who's telling you the truth... they don't have any goats left that they can use for votes... it's every person for themselves and it's a new era of Survivor. I love this season and I love that Nick introduced the idea of using a fake idol to stop a search... but it's almost a game of chance at this point. Credit to the players as they made it this way and removed the challenge beasts so I have no idea who will win... but I'm not sure how much skill remains at this point
