Unless he says that he deliberately stayed away from the last night, I see no reason to think that was the case.
He was filming Rocky Horror in Toronto that day - he couldn't just leave and I'm pretty sure a big production isn't going to re-arrange their schedule for a guy with a bit part.

Of course going to Big Machine is no guarantee if you get into a spat with Scott Borchetta, the way Craig Wayne Boyd did.
I always thought the asshole record head from Nashville was based on Borchetta.

I did want to say that Harry was right to ask McKenzie about the lyrics to his song - and McKenzie completely failed the answer. That song is very clearly a warning song for anyone with ears to hear and a slightly more than cursory knowledge of Tolkien. At the same time, I wasn't sure how else Mac could have truly answered that question in less than 5 minutes, much less 5 seconds.

Did not like what Dalton did to that Plain White Tee's song.
He did the Me First and the Gimme Gimme's version of it. And man did it show the weakness of his voice. I love him and all, but he really can't sing very well.

McKenzie was awesome in his McKenzie lane and I really loved Trent tonight for the first time ever.
And Sonika. Ok. She might be a sleeper. That was the epitome of "Go big or go home." for her and I loved it.
And Kelly. You killed Keith.

I'd give the edge to MacKenzie, but I suspect he and Dalton will be the last two contestants standing.

I thought Constantine and Cook were the best duet partners. They were both clearly used to singing with others probably due to the theater backgrounds. Loved Cook/Cory and Constantine/Jenn.
Loved Jordin and Haley, not as duet partners, but as themselves.
That Olivia Rox chick? Has a much better voice than I thought she did.
All in all, this show was a hundred times better than last week's.

They won't make exceptions for a competition.
The military regularly makes exceptions for PR. And American Idol has always been cozy with the military establishment. I think that's why it's bugging so many people, because it's so obviously propaganda.

You're right actually. It looks like she got a GREAT boob job, but has some unique chest muscle structure is all. I didn't even notice they were veiny or anything to be honest.

Holy Christ that's a bad boob job. Wrong dress Hayden, wrong dress. I do like that the photos were not touched up though. None of them were, of anyone. Maybe the faces, but they left everything else alone.

OK, shut up, Colt. What good does it do if Jeff's death is an accident and not a suicide? Why do you need to run around telling everyone? Most people would not care.Anyone with a shred of human decency would very much like Jeff's loved ones to know the truth. Suicide is a family event. Maybe you know the worst people in the world or something, but I'd bet most people would want everyone to know the truth.

I don't know if it's weirder that they actually tried to mask what they had done to organ donation or that they tried to blame it on menopause.
They didn't. They very specifically blamed it on Beverly who didn't fully disclose her supplement/medicine consumption to the surgical team.

I'm not sure I'm in it for the long haul with this show. I'm so not sure that anything is real, I can't really get invested in anything. I think I will see the season out, but it better become something with more attachment points to keep my attention.
