Did anyone watch Law & Order last night.... Whoopi was on the show and played a corrupt Children Services Supervisor..... Im not sure why everyone was so impressed..... she spent most of the show with a stern look on her face.... She had 1 scene where she spoke.... and in the end was put in a mental ward. I guess since her name is Whoopi... it has to be good..... Im not convinced

Rupert Murdoch sent out a tweet that Ben Carson would be a "Real" Black President..... he did apologize later. Whoopi went on a rant about race.... and it really wasnt that bad.... she did put her dramatic spin on it.... but it seemed to be a positive rant.

I dont own guns.... in fact I have never shot a gun.... but I still have an opinion. I dont think banning guns is the answer.... there are millions of people out there who own guns and should be allowed to. What needs to change is the easy access almost everyone has to guns. The background system needs to be fixed.... there needs to be a system of reporting mental health issues..... as well as criminal activity.... those current systems are not set up well and makes background checks ineffective. I also think all guns need to be registered.... this will help to find out who was the last person to legally own a gun if it is found being used by a criminal. Track the people down who are selling guns illegally. If this is going to be Joy's go to issue... she needs to get better informed and have ideas to present.

I wonder what Mariska Hargitay views on the gun discussion was... since she didnt want to discuss it... and has played a cop for all these years....I imagine that she is against gun control..... I liked how Joy handled it...... Oh I guess you would just get too angry. Now I do not know her stance.... Im just making assumptions based on her reaction.

Im glad that Raven pointed out that reality shows are not real... they have scripts and moments are set up. I have always said.. if Reality Shows are real... why do they have writers

Hillary Clinton is not a criminal.... and there is nothing illegal that she has done...If there were true crimes the Right would have released them long ago. If you have other information Im sure we would all welcome it.

He made a very telling comment on The View today.... He was asked if he ever yells.... he said yes and there was a time he came to the realization that hitting someone in the face is not a sign of strength but a sign of weakness. So maybe that is what it is... he seems to internalizing everything and it comes across as fake

Yeah... I guess it is true.. great minds to think alike. I was also going to post that there are other ways to screen for cancer other than mammograms..... but I clicked reply too soon. One thing I dont know but can assume.... dont most ob/gyn doctors refer a woman to get a mammogram.... instead of having the equipment on site??

I dont remember Joy mentioning mammograms today... but it is possible that I missed it. It is true that Planned Parenthood services more than just poor uneducated women like Carson said.... The post you shared wings707 is for a "no-cost reproductive health and family planning services to teens, men and women in order to prevent unintended pregnancies." No cost program is the key there..... it says at the end of that article that if you do not qualify for the program they will still service the client but there will be a charge. Also... the Federal Government doesnt "donate" Billions of Dollars to Planned Parenthood.... they receive Billions in payment for services rendered as a health care provider.... just like they would from any insurance provider. As was said above.... the Hyde Amendment does not allow for federal funds to pay for abortions except for very extreme cases. How Planned Parenthood spends their money is irrelevant as long as they are not breaking the law..... they should be treated no differently than any other entity that receives federal funds

I agree Apprentice79 his wife's statement was scripted.... and they used misinformation to make that political point... I was annoyed as well. They were talking about how magazines touch up photos to make them look better.... Joy made a comment about herself looking good and Whoopi said not you in reference that she would not need to be touched up in a photo Basically because he has bigoted views and it is much easier to demonize poor uneducated people. I notice in the explanation on who Niecy Nash is... Sherri did not mention that she introduced her to her last ex-husband who helped her create a son that she wanted to have aborted and still denies

If you notice in the article.... she shares different type of stories of the same issue between her 2 parents..... Chelsea was not just raised by Rosie.... Kelli was part of her life growing up too.... but she only blames Rosie for having nannies.... she only talks about Rosie in a negative way..... and that in my opinion... makes her an ungrateful brat.

Ben Carson began his answer with ... micro and macro evolution... and Joy is intelligent enough to understand that it would take at least a half hour for his point to be made by explaining the difference between the 2 types of evolution. I dont remember what the discussion was about...... I must be getting old... but Joy said something about getting a drivers license and Whoopi made a throw away line and said... Unless you are a Mexican..... and Joy turned to her and said... what do you mean... explain yourself. Whoopi stumbled over an explanation about immigration. I dont think she expected to be called out like that.... Good for you Joy!!

One positive thing about the Washington Redskins name is how the team focuses on Native American issues. They donate millions of dollars a year to Native charities and issues..... I doubt teams with other nicknames do the same thing. The polls that are mentioned should be seen as suspect... just like any polls on any issues.

It always seemed that Rosie was trying to do what was best for her children..... and sometimes as children we dont see what is actually best for us. I gotta say... that was a total negative article..... it sounds like sour grapes..... what I took from it was basically.... Chelsea had a wonderful life... but now her mother was terrible.... and it was her parents divorce which caused her depression. Honestly I didnt finish reading it because so much of it just didnt ring true. She was upset because Rosie has a different personality outside the home then inside the home..... well pretty much we all do.... and she also seemed upset because Rosie didnt dress up and do her makeup when she was at home..... she also criticizes Rosie for being "raised by nannies" but she did not criticize Kelli for the same reasons... go figure She seems quite shallow and entitled.... then again she is a teenager

Ben Carson's wife comments from the audience saying..... this is the first generation that makes the debt a worse problem than ever before.... which is just more misinformation... the debt gets bigger every year.... what changed with the current administration was the deficit was decreased by around 3/4.... which means the debt is increasing at a slower rate. I hate it when people use misinformation to make their point... it makes other things suspect and they can not be believed.

Raven is amusing.... they were having a discussion about musical artists not wanting to play their old songs at concerts. Raven's stance was no big deal because artists want to show what new things they are able to do.... and she used the example of people wanting her to sing songs from when she was on the Cosby show.... and how she will never sing those songs again.... but she did NOT mention how she wants to discard "Its So Raven" which she mentions every chance she gets. Im with Paula... you got famous by playing the hits from your past.... Yes do a concert playing your new songs..... but also play those from the past which is why most people are at your concert.
