I take back my earlier remark about kiss in 5.02. I just realized that Ritter has scruff in BTS of 5.02 not a beard. He grew the beard post 5.02. So she could be kissing him in a later episode even though there is no sign of him being around post 5.02. Maybe goes after vigilantes in general. Creates conflict with Mayor Handsome. So is Felicity still seeing him because she cares or is she attempting to remain close to him to protect Oliver? So, all S5 storylines will be replays of what they thought worked in S1/S2? LOL! BTW, where is D.A. Adrian Chase? I guess he can take the role of ADA Laurel Lance trying to capture and prosecute the vigilante.

McKenna Hall redux or reason for Felicity to quit seeing him. He's served his purpose. If they go McKenna Hall way then they really are trying to redo S1.

Think so which makes Jack Tripper, Jr a more likely candidate for Felicity's temporary LI. Oliver will probably see Felicity kissing detective (otherwise why show it through an open door if it was actually about them) in 5.02. No need for Detective Malone's presence after that unless they need a random cop. He's served his purpose. Reporter's first appearance is in 5.03. Just a thought. The only spoiler to come out of the Edmonton expo was SA talking about wearing "charges" and pushing someone into a car. Now I wonder if this happens in 5.05 and Mayor Handsome pushes Reporter into car out of line of fire which makes her into an immediate fanboy.

There's still that other potential love interest casting call out there for 5B. She might be for WIld Dog though.

I think it's kind of sad that we can't even determine which cop it is! If Felicity has to have a boyfriend couldn't he at least be something other than bland? Honestly though, my real problem isn't Felicity with a boyfriend. It's having to watch Oliver trying to date again. That's so Season 1.

So Felicity's boyfriend is Jack Tripper, Jr. Does this mean the big Olicity scene in the biggest Olicitiest episode this season is Oliver deciding to move on to the reporter who becomes a fanboy "with one swipe of the writers pen?" (Not sure how that plays into the Human Target scenario.)

It's also the episode Echo liked the most. I am guessing he's heavily involved but PR doesn't want to give anything away since nothing has aired yet.

Don't know if boyfriend is flashpoint related or not but Leanne Aguilera confirmed in a twitter reply that Barry isn't the boyfriend.

Well, if the premiere boyfriend turns out not to be the detective I won't be upset. The body doesn't look like Amell's but the hair cut does. LOL!

According to IMDB Ritter is 6'1". Traval is 6'2"

Having read this, I could see Felicity saying it to Curtis. It definitely sounds like her and her habit of just moving on. See Cooper's "suicide".

My maybe not so wild guess...Oliver to Diggle when he asks about Oliver/Felicity.

Oliver passed the lovely wallet momento to Laurel along with a Dear John letter in the 4.19 flashbacks. It has been dealt with. I don't believe Felicity and Barry ever had a conversation after he said she wasn't returning his calls. There were no mentions that I recall either. After reading the panel transcription they might be keeping some of the new characters. I know nothing about BTS and contracts but it is S5. SA is signed for 7. Do we know about anyone else? Wild Dog seems to be around quite a bit. If they are thinking of keeping him they might hire a potential love interest for him who could be a female vigilante. Right now there is no indication that Thea is coming back to the team for good.

If the boyfriend reveal is at the loft, is it in the bedroom? LOL! I did wonder if Rory might be the boyfriend because of the Jewish background and perhaps she doesn't know he's Ragman yet.

Do the pictures & drawings on the board apply to this episode? There is a picture of the Smoak Technologies symbol last seen in Star City 2046 above J Sheridan's head as well as 2 bedrooms, maybe from Queen mansion? Thea & Oliver's?

Might be DR's hand next to food (front left in pic) although I wonder why they wouldn't widen the shot to include him.

I saw on Twitter that this role is for a "former Marine turned kick boxer." If true this character is meant to be a fighter. Whether they are meant to be Oliver's LI or not I don't know. Could be for Vigilante. I think possible regular might rule out flashbacks. If for Oliver, does this eliminate Susan Williams, reporter, as love interest or will we get multiple like S1?
