paulvdb July 30, 2019 Share July 30, 2019 Quote Erik's new approach with the artifact leads to a shocking development and grave consequences; Sasha digs for information on the Salvare's defenses. Premiere date: July 25, 2019 Link to comment
iMonrey August 13, 2019 Share August 13, 2019 I'm struggling to stick with this show. Only three episodes left so I suppose I can muddle through, but boy . . . it's bad. Now there's a new crew member named Beacham (?) and he's, what . . . 12? I swear to God they're getting even younger. This kid doesn't even look old enough to shave. And Javier was also a criminal once? Are they all ex-cons? WTF? And, OMG, that scene between Oliver and August, where he reveals he's still a virgin. What is this, the CW? Big thumbs down on the whole scene with Erik inside the artifact. The whole holographic mindfuck by aliens disguised as loved ones has been done to death. Wait . . . are the aliens The Prophets from DS9?? Crossover! 2 2 Link to comment
PsychoDrone August 20, 2019 Share August 20, 2019 The most patently ridiculous thing is a little girl is able to run out on to the location of the artifact. Seriously?!?!? Why isn't this project in complete lockdown? Why is a nanny and child able to walk around like their members of the staff? Does anyone vet these scripts before filming them? This is so amateurish. 3 Link to comment

After episode 6, which I thought was the best of the season and actually was a good effort, episode 7 was hands down the worst episode of the season. Sasha can't be less interesting, and the trope of "bad guy on the ship but the characters don't know while the viewer does" is annoying. ALL of the stuff on Earth is cliched. My eyes rolled so hard at the military guys NEEDING ACTION RIGHT NOW that I almost fell off the couch. Where did those guys came from and what is their problem? Katies deserves better than this. So does whomever is doing the sets and the general atmosphere, which is almost Alien-like and I dig it. I love the sense of menace around the corner in space and on Earth. If only the scripts weren't written by teenagers. On 8/13/2019 at 10:55 AM, iMonrey said: And, OMG, that scene between Oliver and August, where he reveals he's still a virgin. What is this, the CW? Speaking of ... yes, I FF'd through this. So dumb. 2 Link to comment
