ButterQueen February 16 Share February 16 The article states they are going to follow the family through the pandemic and their experiences with Traci’s death. That is going back 4 years for the pandemic and 2 for Traci’s death. I will definitely check it out, but don’t have high expectations. I loved the sister’s dynamic so much, excluding Tamar, and loved when they were having fun and singing together. Traci will be missed. 1 Link to comment

ButterQueen July 30 Share July 30 (edited) I’m doing a rewatch, and seeing Traci makes me so sad. Edited August 5 by ButterQueen 1 Link to comment
HorrrGoodnight August 5 Share August 5 I saw a preview of the new show and the comment about 'Traci is holding our purses' really rubbed me the wrong way. It's like the disrespect continues. 1 1 Link to comment
NowVoyager August 5 Share August 5 (edited) I think Toni said it. Interesting that the editors cut away from her to Mama E who wasn't saying anything. Then you see Towanda, Tamar & Trina saying something about Trina is not holding their purses. 9:30pm Edited August 5 by NowVoyager 2 Link to comment
ButterQueen August 10 Share August 10 Well, that was underwhelming. Toni has ruined her face. I barely recognized her in her TH’s. This family has learned nothing from the sudden deaths of Gabe, their niece and Traci. Poor Traci, it was heartbreaking seeing her so weak and so sick. I watched my husband die from cancer and I cried like a baby seeing the once so vibrant Traci in her last days. RIP Traci. You are finally at peace. I hated they talked bad about Traci’s husband. He knew they never cared for him. They have zero class. 1 Link to comment

I loved her in season 1, although I tired of her Lupus talk. 2 Link to comment
HorrrGoodnight August 11 Share August 11 I noticed that Tamar was the first one to speak up and say 'not exactly!' I was pleasantly surprised. 2 Link to comment
Soapy Goddess August 11 Share August 11 I don't know. I didn't see much difference from the beginning to now. They are who they are, and that hasn't changed IMO. 2 Link to comment
HorrrGoodnight August 21 Share August 21 Feels a bit weird to see Traci so sick. I hope Ep 2 is the last of them showing her like that. Tamar has a major problem with Towanda but says 'my sisters'. Poor Ms Evelyn is just fed up like she said. 2 Link to comment
ButterQueen August 22 Share August 22 I felt so bad for Trina. She is heartbroken. I understood her “going to bed” comments. I have the same problem since my husband died. It’s a true struggle. Toni, Tamar, and Towanda are so fake. What a waste of the therapist’s time. I wish they would stop exploiting Traci’s death by continually showing pics of her at her sickest. Mommy E is just hateful. I see where the girls get their tempers from. 2 Link to comment
ButterQueen September 21 Share September 21 Next week is the finale? This show was a waste of time. 1 Link to comment
Soapy Goddess September 22 Share September 22 I must be missing something because Tamar is still Tamar to me. Maybe she's not as loud and bossy as she was portrayed, but I never thought that was her real personality anyway. Can someone confirm that is what she's talking about? And is that the reason why she was so reluctant (at first) to do the re-boot?? Link to comment

I think she wanted to claim herself an angel and have us believe her soul sucking aura was just AI by the previous production or something. For reasons obvious to me, Traci didn't want to share her diagnosis with Tamar. In a setting with Traci's friend and Tamar's family members, she says she doesn't know why no one told her. The look of panic on that woman's face and the way everyone else went mute was funny. Everyone knew the truth yet Tamar was playing victim. Was it the birthday party for Traci, when Trini straight up said that Tamar and Traci were not on good terms and Tamar lied and said there was no problems between them at the time. All of them are fake, but the rage Traci displayed with dealing with Tamar was real. Towanda is also hands off with Tamar, and she knows how to step away from her and live in peace. 1 Link to comment
Iguessnot September 23 Share September 23 Oooohh, I didn't even know about the drama with Tamar and her latest ex. What a mess. 2 Link to comment

Sounds like there's a lot more to the Tamar story that I'm not getting. Of course, I don't normally get into anything that deep, but considering this is supposed to be a tightknit family, I a bit more curious than normal. And the fact that Tamar may not have known her sister was dying, just confirms there's a lot more they're not saying. 3 hours ago, Iguessnot said: Oooohh, I didn't even know about the drama with Tamar and her latest ex. HorrrGoodnight September 25 Share September 25 Maybe Traci's last wish for them to continue the show was to show how LAME it would be without her? 1 1 1 Link to comment
NowVoyager October 4 Share October 4 I was looking forward to the show coming back, but I had a hard time watching. Mostly I just listened to recaps on YouTube. I think Traci wanted the sisters to do the show because it is the one thing that gets them to spend time together. Link to comment
