This was horrible.  I actually like Amy Schumer (as an actress), but between her obviously knowing what she was doing while pretending not to, and the bad recipes, this was nasty.  And the weird trying to make authentic latkes that were so wrong.  Ugh.

I happened upon an IAS episode on Paramount Plus, but couldn't tell for sure if it was new or one from the earlier run that I hadn't seen before. The one that opens with her character auditioning for what turns out to be a disgusting hard-core porno. That's one of the old ones, right?

Anything that says Season 5 is new.

I really enjoyed season 5. I don't think there was anything that reached the heights of previous seasons (the video game sketch, Friday NIght Lights parody, Girl You Don't Need Makeup song, etc), but I loved the romcom spoof, Draft Hunter, the Colorado ad, and a few more. I also liked the post-sketch comments from the writers, and seeing Tim Meadows pop up a few times. The songs were a complete miss for me, though, and I ended up fast forwarding through most of them.

I hope we get more episodes.

Me too!

I felt the season hit its stride with Episode 4. (Which is the last one I've watched, last night.) The first 3 had their moments, but 4 had me laughing from start to finish. I feel like it took this long for the new writers' room to gel, so it's a shame there's only one more episode after this. (If we don't get more.)

I agree with you that I could do without the songs.
