formerlyfreedom May 30, 2014 Share May 30, 2014 Talk about Shelly in this place! I would watch Ron Funches sit on a couch and breath. This man is FUNNY! And I will continue to watch this show, no matter what, to watch him. 1 Link to comment
Rilla-my-Rilla May 30, 2014 Share May 30, 2014 I would watch that too, but I would need him to laugh every once in awhile because it just makes me happy. He has such a happy laugh, just infectious. When he's on @midnight, it's just a giggle fest. I love it. Link to comment
Kromm May 30, 2014 Share May 30, 2014 He's not QUITE the breakout character in the two episodes I've seen, but he is still a highlight. He's not given much to do, but you're always paying attention to his line delivery, vs. the rest of the "motley bunch of friends". Link to comment
possibilities June 21, 2014 Share June 21, 2014 The Funches stand up special on Comedy Central, which my listings said was airing last night, was apparently bumped to a future date-- I think next week. Bad news if you stayed up late like I did, to watch it last night. But good news if you didn't know about it and are now going to be able to catch it when it finally airs! 1 Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver June 21, 2014 Share June 21, 2014 Shelly as the Dream Ninja was pretty enjoyable -- even in dreams he wears clothing with Detroit on it. 1 Link to comment
possibilities June 24, 2014 Share June 24, 2014 I was watching @midnight on Comedy Central tonght, and at the end, Chris Hardwick (the host) said one of the guests tomorrow will be Ron Funches (for their 100th episode). I was wrong last time I said when The Funch was going to be on a Comedy Central Show at a particular time, but I'm hoping my information is correct for this. Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver July 4, 2014 Share July 4, 2014 Ron had a couple of funny moments tonight. Shelly: "When I was 9, I killed my guinea pig with kindness. Too many hugs." Shelly: "My mother always said if someone pulls out a knife, I should pull out a smile. I was stabbed on several occasions." That was priceless. P.S. Chris D'Elia -- still not funny. Link to comment
Kromm July 4, 2014 Share July 4, 2014 P.S. Chris D'Elia -- still not funny.Apparently he's now also got a role on Jamie Pressley's equally unfunny show to console him, if this one doesn't work out. Link to comment
DeLurker March 19, 2015 Share March 19, 2015 I desperately want Funches to move to a show I can tolerate watching. It has to be a D'Elia and Cummings free zone though. 2 Link to comment
Kromm April 4, 2015 Share April 4, 2015 Just found this today, but this is actually old (from mid-2013, slightly before anyone really knew Funches). Very funny. 1 Link to comment
