EC Amber May 28, 2014 Share May 28, 2014 I'm on a rewatch, I am really having a hard time deciding which episodes really get in the top of my list. I love the Pilot just for the introductions of the cast, sans Claudia. Ironically one of my least favorite is "Claudia." The story was just kinda dull to me. I won't be able to come to a conclusion until the whole rewatch is complete... but I did want to know what others enjoyed the most and the least through the series. Link to comment
Bort May 28, 2014 Share May 28, 2014 Duped will always top my list, based on the most excellent use of the song White Rabbit alone. Sadly, the Netflix copy has replaced it with generic music which totally affects the scene, it just isn't the same without it. 1 Link to comment
Jack Shaftoe June 1, 2014 Share June 1, 2014 (edited) I love the episodes where Pete and Myka have wacky adventures in a different age or a fictional world - 2.10, 4.13 and 5.04. So many quotable lines, so much fun. I also love 2.07 for the Helena/Myka subtext and Claudia's reaction to the college life, the episode with Fargo's video game because it's pure fun, Burnout (I think that was the episode when I became really hooked), 4.02 (tentacles! Plus, the villain's method of punishing the victim was rather interesting, IMO), Vendetta (more Helena/Myka fun, Claudia and Todd are hilarious). Not that I don't like most of the dramatic scenes but the episodes I rewatch tend to be more light-hearted. Least favourites include 4.10 - there was zero drama in Artie's "choice" between letting the world basically end and unleashing the evil of the astrolabe and they missed like 37 chances of zapping him with the Tesla, 2.12 (copy of Buffy's Dark Willow storyline, sure it was better than that nonsense but I never liked the idea of HG becoming a villain who wants to destroy the world, especially not for the silly reason she gave), the ren-fair one (so predictable). And I have a love-hate relationship with the season 3 finale. Helena's sacrifice in the end is possibly my favourite character redemption moment on TV ever, Pete, Myka and Claudia get to shine in defeating the villain the scene where Claudia discovers Steve's body is beautifully tragic (the musci alone gives me goosebumps). But Sykes is so freaking boring and the idea that the regents needed to know what his plan was instead of moving to eliminate him immediately after Steve was accepted into his organization makes no sense whatsoever. Plus the reset that was bound to come cheapens the whole thing a lot. Edited June 1, 2014 by Jack Shaftoe 1 Link to comment
benteen June 4, 2014 Share June 4, 2014 I always liked the first Alice episode in Season 1 a lot. I remember EM saying in an interview after Season 1 that it was his favorite. Considering they did another Alice episode and even had the mirror pop up briefly twice this season, the people involved in the show must have really liked it too. 1 Link to comment
FavFable July 4, 2014 Share July 4, 2014 I love any episode with HG Wells. I also liked the episode where Claudia, Pete and Myka were trapped in the Warehouse. That is always a fun one to re-watch. 1 Link to comment
BooksRule August 15, 2015 Share August 15, 2015 Duped will always top my list, based on the most excellent use of the song White Rabbit alone. Sadly, the Netflix copy has replaced it with generic music which totally affects the scene, it just isn't the same without it. This is from way back, but I'm binge-watching all five seasons on DVD, and I'm happy to report (in case others are considering the DVDs) that 'White Rabbit' is on the DVD version. I always liked that song too. 1 Link to comment

I always liked that song too. Duped is the only episode on the DVDs that retained its original music. I noticed that a later episode used The Cure's Friday I'm in Love and it didn't make into the DVD. The showrunners were apparently adamant that White Rabbit remain, which I understand, because the scene it's used in doesn't have the same impact with the ordinary score that's used in the stream version. I wish they'd been able to get the song for the stream version because I imagine there are lots of people who haven't seen Duped the "real" way. 2 Link to comment
BooksRule August 24, 2015 Share August 24, 2015 I'll have to come back later to list my favorite episode (I'll have to think about it), but after watching the first part of the last season today, I have to say that 'Savage seduction' is one of my least favorites, mainly because of the telenovela storyline. It was a cute idea, but it went on for way too long. On the other hand, I liked the other story in the episode (the one in the frat house). I could watch Jinks dance on a table all day long. 1 Link to comment

SilvaVocat January 1, 2016 Share January 1, 2016 Just finished re-watching 3:11 Emily Lake, and damn if Jinx's death isn't perfectly done. Just heartbreaking. 1 Link to comment
johntfs June 21, 2016 Share June 21, 2016 I rather like 4.05's "No Pain, No Gain." Claudia and Myka as geisha's were great when they return with the artifact and the giant stuffed bear. I especially like Claudia's, "Aw, he's so soft and fuzzy - so is the bear" to Artie. Also, Myka getting "wish-pregnant" was cool and it great to see guest stars from Psych on the show.
