It was pleasant enough, in a Jason Bourne type of way. I did not regret seeing it.
However, the character of  Lisbeth Salander seemed to be completely reinvented compared to the first movie (and book, maybe?). Her childhood and family connections did not appear to be something that would would have been completely ignored in the other movie.
