Mattjfox July 30, 2014 Share July 30, 2014 Anyone think that Henry's safe that has the the Indian and cowboy figurines in it is a reference to the story Indian in the cupboard? 1 Link to comment

Kohola3 May 1, 2016 Share May 1, 2016 Quote LDP is sure getting better looking with some age on him. Just got turned on to Longmire and any episode without Henry is not worth watching. I wish the series were more like the books in the treatment of Henry Standing Bear. But any time with LDP is time will spent! He is gorgeous. 2 Link to comment
zxy556575 July 15, 2016 Share July 15, 2016 (edited) When I first saw the show advertised on Netflix, I assumed LDP was Longmire since the show's title graphic is a picture of him. Robert Taylor who? Seems like I'm not alone in finding Henry to be the main draw. His character has the most depth and authenticity to me, and I always believe his motivations whereas Walt and Vic often feel cardboard cutouts. Edited July 15, 2016 by lordonia 1 Link to comment
Kohola3 July 15, 2016 Share July 15, 2016 I agree that Henry's character is very nuanced and LDP deserves an Emmy nomination for his work in Longmire, especially at the end of Season 4. Counting the days until the first episode of Season 5! Link to comment
Carbon60 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 I like LDP's version of Henry but I do wish they had incorporated a bit more of the Henry from the books. 2 Link to comment
Kohola3 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 (edited) In case you are not as old as I am, LDP did a number of guest appearances in Numb3rs. He played a sniper and an expert at tracking - our beloved Henry in an earlier time! In case anyone is intersted, here are the seasons and episodes in which he appears. Season 1 Sniper Zero 9 Season 2 Toxin 9 Season 3 Spree 1 Two Daughters 2 Pandora’s Box 19 Season 5 High Exposure 1 Angels and Devils 23 Season 6 Ultimatum 8 (my favorite) Edited November 18, 2016 by Kohola3 Link to comment

mytmo July 30, 2018 Share July 30, 2018 LDP makes the series hands down. I saw a documentary about Ritchie Valens and Ritchie Valens family actually felt closure watching LDP's performance in La Bamba. That right there says phenomenal acting. 2 Link to comment

I have held off reading things here as I hadn't watched the last episode until today ( just didn't want it to be over!). But Henry was far and away my favorite character, heads above even Walt. LDP was phenomenal in that role. 3 Link to comment
