Seriously, she gets floored at least once in every action scene. That's not supposed to happen, running into a yellow-sun powered Kryptonian should, in theory, be like hitting a brick wall. The show struggles every season with Supergirl's fight scenes. It's hard to write fight scenes with an almost unbeatable opponent. So, they have SG hesitate, not move quick when she could and be knocked down when she shouldn't. Unless someone has super powers, SG should be able to defeat them in less than a minute, if even that long. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/69373-s03e15-in-search-of-lost-time/page/2/#findComment-4399174

Honestly, the only time I have seen Superman fight even closely to what he might be like in real life is the Snyder films ( let's not get into a sidetrack :). The next best is probably the brawl with Kara in season 2 (I haven't seen Superman 2 in decades). I think they're just too powerful to provide much human drama in a fight.
