Mittengirl June 13, 2021 Share June 13, 2021 My favorite Instant Pot recipe is the Adobo Chicken recipe from the Food Network website https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/instant-pot-chicken-adobo-3649636 I use skinless chicken thighs (about 6) so I don’t brown the chicken. I just throw the thighs in the pot for 17 minutes. I also use cornstarch to thicken the sauce if I don’t feel like waiting for it to cook down at the end. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/64971-the-instant-pot-thread/page/2/#findComment-6837663
SunnyBeBe March 2, 2022 Share March 2, 2022 I’m considering an IP. I’m trying to eat healthier, cooking a lot at home and like the convenience. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/64971-the-instant-pot-thread/page/2/#findComment-7320602

Anela April 11, 2022 Share April 11, 2022 (edited) I mostly use mine for soup. I've used it for rice, over the last couple of months, as well. I like that I can just walk away, and let things cook. I have made ribs, I've tried whole chickens, but I prefer those cooked in the regular oven. Potato salad, potatoes and eggs cooked at the same time. Pasta just thrown together, although I haven't tried anything like that for a couple of years. Mine has been letting out a whistle, recently, when it first comes to pressure, and for 5-10 minutes after that, so it might be time to replace it. I've had it for six years now.
