S01.E10: No Consequence Day

Recommended Posts

Quote

In the wake of Lois Lane's death, Ron tells the team about a theory where Superman will rewind time to save her and there would be no consequences. Just when everyone starts to take advantage - Ron becomes a dog owner, Emily and Wendy get in trouble with the law, Jackie takes up day drinking, Teddy makes a power move and Van gives Bruce a piece of his mind - things start to go awry when the theory may not be as sound as they were thinking.

As mentioned in the media thread, this episode is apparently available on demand in New Zealand and can be found on the internet.

Not for those of us who don't live in New Zealand, it can't.  It's geo-blocked.

Good thing Superman broke out of that Kryptonite prison just in time in order to reverse time and save Lois Lane -- otherwise Emily and Wendy would have ended up in jail, Teddy would have Van's job with a hot assistant, Jackie would still be drinking and telling people to 'Go Fuck Yourself', and Ron would be playing with all his pugs. And Van told off his cousin, Bruce, only to discovered that Bruce Wayne was Batman.  And Stephen Hawking pushed Neil DeGrasse Tyson into traffic while stating "Die You Hack".  But now it is all for nothing -- or is it ?

Who wants some Foie Graviar ?  That's where they force feed a goose caviar.

And Wendy is rich, because her family owns a cartoonishly evil cosmetics company that owns the largest facility for testing cosmetics on chimpanzees (and is also involved in fracking and the ivory trade).

"Ron Jr."   -- now where did that pug come from after the time change ?

So I've managed to watch the last two unaired episodes and it may have just because of the cancellation,  but the last three episodes in the season were very funny and just proves, to me at least,  that the show had finally figured itself out and while it may have never been a hit it could have developed into a fantastic show with a good core audience.
