nooshie July 4, 2017 Share July 4, 2017 As a foreigner living in England I asked about the definition of the biscuit and was told (by several different people), "when a biscuit goes stale it goes soft, when a cake goes stale it goes hard" which ignores the existence of cookies, but does still tie into the previous Two Spotted Dicks episode because it explains why even though the Brits treat Jaffa Cakes as biscuits, they're really not....
