Well, you guys must have decided to Say Something very cruel to the Biscotti, because the poor cookies just absolutely crumbled in the Ballroom. (I'll be here all week, folks...;))

...We've said Goodbye to Emily Says Hello and So...Good Talk got too annoyingly chatty to keep around, so the next round is open! We're still voting against two :)

Remember the Fundamental Things that Apply in an Affair- mainly, don't have one and then end it by sending a note to your secret lover via your mother because he is probably dumb enough to leave it in a place where his wife can find it, and then you will get yelled at by his in-laws the town square.

I'll go against Affair as well, so the next round is open!

So The Reigning Lorelai has been dethroned, but we have a four (!) way tie for that second spot: Written in the Stars, Come Home, The Fundamental Things Apply and The Lorelais' First Day at Yale. Just vote for the one you most want eliminated and I'll end this as soon as I can :)

Heh---I'm torn between feeling sad that The Fundamental Things Apply is gone, as it's definitely one of my favorite post-S3 episodes, and feeling relieved that this potentially messy four-way tiebreaker was resolved so easily :) The next round is open, and we're still voting against two!

From IMDB for Fundamental

"After reflecting on her lack of social life, Rory decides to try dating and finds it harder than it looks. Lorelai is still adjusting to an empty house and has Luke over to try to fill the gap. Meanwhile Lorelai is somewhat disturbed after discovering that the designer she just hired to decorate the inn used to work for Emily."

For Marty-philes like me, it's also notable as the one where Marty approaches Rory since she's in her pjs and slippers.

And for those who watched MadTV, the episode starts off with the gardening scene spoofed in their Gabmore Girls sketch.

Let Me Hear you Come Home

Oh my. My brain stopped before "Home" and just ... oh my...

Ugh, I forgot TFTA was when the whole ridiculousness over can't-work-with-the-designer-who-worked-with-my-mom-years-ago thing occurred, but I love everything else about the episode.  Rory's horrid date, Luke coming over to watch Casablanca, the POW! color coming out your yin-yang....love it all.

Come Home and Written in the Stars are history, and the next round is open. This is the LAST time we're voting against two...
