(We've Got Magic to Do) Richard does not believe Lorelai when she tells him that the Huntzbergers humiliated Rory. He says it was merely a misunderstanding (We've Got Magic to Do) Richard has a confrontation with Mitchum. He finds out what was said to Rory. Realizes that Rory may be wasting her time at the DAR.
