Okay, I looked it up because it was nagging me.

  • The Devil You Know: He just calls him boy, as in "Sick 'em, boy!"
  • King of the Damned: He calls her Juliet, as in, "Juliet? It's papa. Stand down."

Crowley brought his hell hound to Bobby's in Weekend at Bobby's. As far as I recall, he didn't call him anything in particular, but he did threaten Bobby to release him or become "Alpo."

Other than that, I don't recall any other time we've seen Crowley's hell hound pet. Perhaps I'm forgetting something, though.

Okay...I've never heard that before, but okay. Seriously, they weren't looking for the one that was actually on the show? Weird.

For what it's worth, it's listed on the wiki under Trivia:

(I took a screen shot, but imgur is not cooperating at the moment....)

As for why TP does the stuff it does, I have no idea.  I think someone thinks it's fun to throw in the occasional "gotcha" -- to make sure people are paying attention, maybe?  I don't know.

Sorry, I was just being a smart ass with that rhetorical question.

No need to apologize.  Honestly, I get annoyed by it because I have to do my own research from time to time and I shouldn't have to do that unless I'm writing the questions, dammit!  ;-)

Wait. So the Cage was always in Limbo  and not actual Hell proper?  That question could really have two answers. Odd.

The Cage was in Hell, but a part of Hell referred to as Limbo.

I've only watched the episode once, so I will defer to the wiki in this case:

Quote

In Hell, Sam follows Rowena and Crowley to "limbo," an area in the furthest reaches of Hell where they will communicate with Lucifer. When they reach the end of the long corridor, they find an empty cage. Rowena works on placing warding sigils and spells on the cage and then summons Lucifer to appear inside it.

Rowena did manifest the cage in Limbo, but Limbo is part of Hell. Think of Hell as the country and Limbo a state inside that country. The cage would've been in another state before Rowena moved it to Limbo. But both states are in Hell.

::snort:: I just got my own pun!! ;)
