sleekandchic, have fun on your date night with your husband! I will have to go back and rewatch it. I know I watched it when it was on but I don't pay attention sometimes to it so while do so. Sounds like what some of us were wondering about as well with them and how the protrayed themselves during that time compared to once they were really married.

Btw, I have 2 kids I picked names for that you don't hear alot and they will never find their names on things either. One of them I had changed the first letter as well so you really can't find it that way. LOL I just hated always have someone else with my name around and wondering who they are talking to. Then I didn't hear it to much as an adult until recently when I heard a neighbor say his girlfriend's name and there is a mom at my daughter's dance studio with it as well. Which our girls are in the same class. LOL I also think its nice to have something different (but not to insane) of a name. =D

I was just watching TLC and saw a preview for a show called "What if we get married."

TLC...not a channel I will watch. Seems these people have known each other and decide to get married all of a sudden though.

So Cameron Diaz and Steve Carell's long-lost bro- recently-released-from-San- Quentin-for-running-his-porn-empire were maybe the original third couple, huh? ROFL!!! Cameron dodged a bullet man.

He reminds me a little of the late Bruno Kirby, of "When Harry Met Sally" fame and other things.

I want to recommend that you watch/rewatch the Matchmaking episode. It's a real eye opener for several reasons. (Thanks to Jack Sampson for the idea!) Some of the show was maddening to me. I already said Ashley was a different person. Well wait til you see Sam! Another one, happy, breezy and light! Eager to marry! In addition to talking about her love for her late grams, she also talked about her desire for a meaningful connection. I did not get any kind of manipulative loon, asshole, verbally-abusive, superficial-dolt vibe from her at all. My HUGE mistake.

I will have to check it out - I think it might give us an idea of how these people can fool the experts with their acts to get on the show.  Then again the experts' job is to be able to read between the lines through their "best behavior" to spot potential loons and nasty types.  They probably don't have enough time to really get to know the candidates well enough to see those things about them, though.  If they only have a few interviews and inventory results to go by it's no wonder these issue-ridden people slip through.  I have a feeling it's part of the territory, though, with a show like this to attract whack jobs and it might be hard to find people who are relatively issue-free.
