iscoffy November 30, 2015 Share November 30, 2015 Well, my guide says this episode, but it's the "ScrollMD" one, so, alas. I will have to rely on you all to tell me what will kill you and everyone you love, assuming anyone is seeing the new one. Link to comment
Driad November 30, 2015 Share November 30, 2015 F**tb*ll ran late (surprise!). In the East, this ep would have started at 11:01. My CBS station went right into news after The Good Wife, with no explanation. Apparently Whoever is saving this ep for later. Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver December 14, 2015 Share December 14, 2015 (edited) Why is Avery hanging around a sorority ? Meeting a date arranged via cougarlife.com ? Oh, she's there to meet Grace -- who's Grace again ? And why is she hammered/stoned/whatever and being dropped off by some dude ? How was the burnt woman's body IDed so quickly ? Better yet who found the body and called the cops ? How long was the body there before it was found ? What was that liquid that Krummie put the vic's arm into in order to loosen up the vic's grip on the phone ? And wouldn't getting the phone wet actually make things worse ? Because it looked a lot like CLR. Avery: "We'll question Quinn's phone to find out who killed her". Yeah, that statement is pretty much bullshit. You can examine that phone, but you can't interrogate it via questioning like a perp. Who writes this crap ? Why isn't Krummie in CTOC when he sends Raven/Lil' Bow Wow the data from the vic's smartphone ? Avery was just with him and now she's back at CTOC. And Lil Bow Wow had to call Krummie in order to get info on how to hack the passcode on that calculator app. WTF ? I thought he was a hacker with mad skillz. And the vic apparently used a Zogo driver (cough, cough ... Uber) frequently. And her phone had a digital assistant named ISLA (cough, cough .... Siri). And Ziafina is a confession web site that is probably rife with hackers. The text embedded in the photo caption has a message in All CAPS -- therefore, the shift key must be the killer. Seriously ? Brute force attack is the cyber-phrase of the week. And it is used/referenced in all of about one minute of screen time during the entire episode. Oh nooeeess !! A password-guessing algorithm will kill you and everyone you love. That is pretty weak. What's next week -- Bluesnarfing ? Hold on -- Quinn Elliott married a guy from D.C. under an alias of Lexie James ? Does that even make the marriage legal ? WTF ? Ummm ... how did Krummie know how long Quinn's passcode was ? Because I suspect that some uber-hacker would have a passcode longer than 7 characters if it was only limited to numbers. And at 72 guesses per minute and 10 billion possible combinations (according to Krummie), that means it could have possibly taken over 2642 years to possibly guess it using that bot. But since Krummie was only trying 7 digit combos, it really means there were only just under 10 million possible combinations -- someone on this show needs to check their math, carry the one or something, because they are way off. Are we sure that Lil' Bow Wow is an actual hacker ? Because even he should know that 'pen testing' actually means penetration testing, but Lil' Bow Wow has no idea what it means. That's just sad. Avery poses the question if Quinn was killed by someone in her cyberworld or her real world ? Since I'm pretty sure that she was shot multiple times and set on fire in the real world, it's probably someone in the real world. Avery is an idiot ! Interesting that all the hacked Miafina accounts used the same 3 e-mail services: fasttapsmail.com, connectingusnow.com, colossallinks.net. Why didn't they look any further into that ? Avery: "This is Ashley Madison all over again." Uh, Avery, no it's not even close. That was a married adults cheating web site restricted to members only, this is a simple confession web site open to the public where people were too stupid to not know that putting something online for all to see could come back and bite them in the ass. Lil' Bow Wow's story about the Thai restaurant was incredibly stupid. If he used to eat there all the time, how come he never noticed before that he was the only one eating there ? Is he an idiot ? Going from rape cover-up to murder seems like a HUGE stretch. Might have helped to show how he even connected with Quinn/Lexie in the first place. CTOC area is literally packed with nameless extras. After rotating that image, how did Avery jump from sailboats to rowing crew at some race in Boston ? And if it was such a big race in Boston, how come Lil' Bow Wow's search of social media turned up nothing referencing SOT, even though SOT5 was something big enough that Avery knew about it. An event that occurred only 5 or 6 weeks previously, yet apparently no one posted anything about it on line. Really ? The case really wrapped up quickly -- it's the equivalent of spinning around in a room full of people and stopping and pointing at any person and accusing "that guy" of being the perp. They never explained how or why Quinn/Lexie first ended up on the ground with her hands and feet bound at some isolated location when Perkins approached her and shot her twice and killed her, and then set her on fire. Did Perkins get the drop on her at their public meeting place, knock her out and kidnap her ? Plus, as soon as Rob Estes showed up on-screen for a few seconds you kind of knew that he was the killer. They also never explained what the '15' in 'SOT515' meant, if anything. I still don't get how the crew team or the athletic director ever figured out that the anonymous Miafina posting (of the upside down boat painting with the word DEPAR encoded in the text on top of the photo) was from in the first place -- or who it was pointing the finger at them for assaulting Shelby. These jocks just didn't seem all that bright. Edited December 14, 2015 by ottoDbusdriver 1 Link to comment

He couldn't create some other alias to use that wouldn't connect to his rowing crew? The case really wrapped up quickly -- it's the equivalent of spinning around in a room full of people and stopping and pointing at any person and accusing "that guy" of being the perp. I don't even get how they had anything approaching probable cause to arrest that guy, either. It seemed like all they knew was that someone who wanted to protect the rapists was SOT515 and it wasn't one of the rowers. Solid and specific evidence there. 1 Link to comment
