ohjoy April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 After the end of the 2nd season, I decided to go back and watch all the scenes of Snart from Season 1 (since it looks likes that's all I'm going to get of him). And I fell in love with him all over again. I just love his progression over the course of the season, and I love the way WM played him in scenery-chewing glory, with surprising subtle layers underneath. And so very cool throughout. This is a dude who froze his own hand and then shattered it to get out of handcuffs with he was kidnapped. Oh, how I wish WM would give us more of this guy. He's fantastic. 6 Link to comment
KirkB April 11, 2017 Share April 11, 2017 It's funny, I watched that very episode (the hand freezing one) just last night, and I was thinking the same thing. Snart, his dry one liners, character development and cold (pardon the pun) way of looking at things is sorely missed. 3 Link to comment
Featherhat April 11, 2017 Share April 11, 2017 Yeah I miss the progression of his character too. Wasn't a big fan of his The Flash eps but he was great on LOT, shame WM wanted to leave, though I can't blame him if he wanted to do more Prison Break. They couldn't have Hero!Snart pop up now and then as they'd killed him off and picking him in and out of the WaveRider!Snart's journey would have been confusing for the few number of episodes they got. So I can see why they did what they did with what they had available. I think Mick Rory got a similar sort of progression this season though, I hope he stays on. 3 Link to comment
Maelstrom April 13, 2017 Share April 13, 2017 From the media thread: On April 7, 2017 at 6:04 PM, kirinan said: Did 'Legends of Tomorrow' Waste Leonard Snart? The answer (IMO) is a big, fat YES. YES. I just caught up on season 1 via DVDs (no Netflix for me) and was supremely disappointed to learn that Snart wasn't a regular in season 2. I've never watched the Flash, and never saw him on Prison Break, so I didn't really know what to expect, but damn did WM win me over. I enjoyed his scenes with DP immensely, especially after the Chronos reveal, and liked the contrast of his, um, unique perspective on things compared with the wide-eyed optimism of all the other characters. Once my local library gets the season 2 DVDs I'll probably have to continue watching for Mick and Sara, and what little of Arthur Darvill we get in season 2, but it's a real shame there's no more Leonard. Prison Break is too dark and violent for my tastes, so I guess I'll have to rewatch LoT season 1 (and select Flash scenes courtesy of Youtube) for my WM fix. Link to comment
