He was such a unique performer and brought such menace to the part along with so much comedy with Tonja Walker. I too wish we had gotten one more big story with him (and #Justice4Talia).

And if I may read another show to filth here, the character and his role as a mob boss was used correctly on OLTL. He could be a romantic "hero" to Alex or Renee but he was always a villain and never the center of the show.

The Robin/Roscoe Born clip at the beginning is particularly interesting as Robin has been very candid that they did not get along though she appreciated his talent.

The infamous/legendary Megan McTavish's unpublished memoir has leaked online, and it is about exactly what you might expect. She has smoke for virtually everyone except Brian Frons. Her comments re: working with Jill Farren Phelps at OLTL are hysterical though:

Kale Browne, who played the role of Sam Rappaport adequately at best, was Jill's particular favorite. I never could figure out that relationship. He schmoozed her up one side and down the other, he took her out for dinner, he invited her to his country place once for the weekend. But she swore to me they weren't having an affair, and I believed her. Which made it all the stupider. If she were getting some from Kale I could understand why she would make me shove him into episode after episode long after the writers and the audience were totally sick of him. As it was, I just bowed to the inevitable and made sure to write him in at least three times a week.
