Candice Accola's really beautiful rendition of Sam Baker's "Go In Peace" in this past episode ("Let Her Go") got me thinking about my favorite music moments on the show. There have been so many, because this show is very good in general with its music, but two come to mind. Birdy's "Skinny Love" at Jenna's burial. Just heart-breakingly perfect. "This Woman's Work" when Bonnie and Grams make the ghosts all over Mystic Falls disappear. This part in particular always leaves me bawling: What are some of your favorite music moments? Among my faves (do I need to spoiler tag in here... not sure!) Um, spoilers, I guessBeauty of the Dark (Stefan finds Zach and the graveyard scene with Vicki) Be Still, The Fray (Alaric goodbye) All I Need (Damon and Elena dance) A Drop in the Ocean (Stefan calls Elena and Damon destroying Stefan's room) Never Let Me Go (Damon and Elena motel kiss) Turn to Stone (Damon about to fry himself) Holding on and Letting Go (Elena's porch with Damon) There's lots more. Um, spoilers, I guess No need to spoiler tag anything that's about episodes that have already aired. I wish I had copied and pasted all the stuff from the TWoP music thread! I kind of want to make a mix tape of all the 90s songs used as episode titles this season. I think S3 had the best music overall.
