HalcyonDays January 8, 2015 Share January 8, 2015 Garak's tailor shop is bombed, forcing Odo to investigate who is trying to kill the Cardassian exile – and why. Link to comment
blueray January 9, 2015 Share January 9, 2015 Netflix has the best description of this episode: "A peaceful Afternoon was shattered when Garak's shop is destroyed by an explosion". I love this episode. Especially because involves a lot of Odo and Garak. Link to comment
legaleagle53 January 14, 2015 Share January 14, 2015 This episode stunned me, as it aired just after the Oklahoma City bombing. I was surprised that the show and the network would air it with that tragedy still fresh in everyone's mind. Link to comment
iMonrey May 2, 2017 Share May 2, 2017 I loved Garak's interpretation of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." Julian is trying to show that if you lie all the time nobody will believe you; Garak says the actual moral of the story is "You should never tell the same lie twice." That cracked me up. 1 Link to comment

That whole bit led to a series of fanfic that I read about (and admittedly read) a few months ago when I last watched this episode. It was a series in which each story was Bashir telling Garak a different Earth fairy tale, and Garak saying what he thought the morals were. It's quite a funny story, and very in character for both of them. Here it is, if you'd like to read yourself. Link to comment
John Potts May 3, 2017 Share May 3, 2017 That fanfic's brilliant! The writer really captured Garak perfectly. In the (unlikely?) event of Garak having children, I'd be fascinated to know what bedtime stories he'd tell them ("And take care to always establish your alibi first. Sleep well!") Link to comment
