itsCleo November 2, 2014 Share November 2, 2014 So all along, we've been thinking that Murphy is just getting sicker but what if he is already dead and is now a zombie with his human characteristics intact? His body is decomposing - lost a tooth - hair falling out - and he bit that guy. A thinking, feeling (well, as much as Murphy can feel) zombie. An interesting twist. 2 Link to comment
technorebel November 2, 2014 Share November 2, 2014 Maybe he'll become some kind of zombie leader and broker a peace treaty between Z's and humans. But, really, how long can zombies last when they continue to decay? Surely they'd get to a point where their ligaments and such are too far gone to even move. I also wonder if the rate of decay depends on how much they get to eat or not. 1 Link to comment

Murphy's definitely a zombie-human hybrid. To your list of symptoms I'd add his eyes at the end of this episode. And the fact that the guy Murphy bit didn't turn into a zombie when he died. Dorne November 4, 2014 Share November 4, 2014 About next week's episode, Mack better not die. Don't kill the eye candy! Seriously, though, I really like the character. Mack and Addy are a couple that doesn't annoy, how rare is that on a TV show? I don't want to lose another character so soon, I've grown fond of them all - well, except former cannibal girl, she can go. 3 Link to comment
technorebel November 4, 2014 Share November 4, 2014 (edited) Dorne, I hate to say it, but that is a really big concrete slab that falls on Mack, so it's not looking good for him. Also, ditto on former cannibal-cult girl, though she did redeem herself in a way by offering herself to the leader in Addy's place. Edited November 4, 2014 by technorebel 1 Link to comment

Another symptom: zombie pilot Amelia not-Earhart mirroring Murphy's actions, then following him like a ducking in episode 10, "Going Nuclear." 1 Link to comment
SoSueMe November 15, 2014 Share November 15, 2014 Another symptom: zombie pilot Amelia not-Earhart mirroring Murphy's actions, then following him like a ducking in episode 10, "Going Nuclear." Odd that Murphy essentially sentenced that mother and child to death in a previous episode and then in "going Nuclear" he did/didn't have the heart to put Amelia down.... Link to comment
editorgrrl November 15, 2014 Share November 15, 2014 (edited) Murphy has more empathy for zombies than for humans. Edited to add a preview for the next episode, "Sisters of Mercy": Edited November 16, 2014 by editorgrrl 1 Link to comment
editorgrrl November 29, 2014 Share November 29, 2014 (edited) New symptom: Murphy can control anyone who comes into contact with his saliva. No bite required—he can just hock a loogie in your canteen. If Serena (the woman who brought pie to Murphy's tent in "Sisters of Mercy") is pregnant, can her unborn child control her behavior? And Murphy's shedding his skin. For a moment there, I thought he'd eat the patch he peeled off his hand. Edited to ask: Can Murphy control nuclear warheads? CletusMusashi February 3, 2015 Share February 3, 2015 Better question: Can he control Zombie Bison? They could pull any car wherever you wanted, without worrying about gas or maintenance. Take that, MIchonne! Link to comment
