cooksdelight October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 Thrilled to hear that Antonia Lofaso will be joining the show, hopefully replacing that woman who was so useless as an advisor. 1 Link to comment
sunrisepink October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 I didn't hear about this. I love Antonia! And yes, please let her replace that awful Waylynn. Link to comment
Bella October 31, 2014 Share October 31, 2014 The more I see of Antonia, the more I like her, so this is welcome news. Link to comment
cooksdelight October 31, 2014 Author Share October 31, 2014 I love Antonia's humor. When she was on the recent Top Chef Duels, she said "I guess by the time I win something, it will be Top Chef Seniors." She's a good judge and a beast in the kitchen, so she should be able to help some of these people who don't know what they are doing. Link to comment
anonymiss December 18, 2014 Share December 18, 2014 Yay Antonia! I already liked the show and didn't like or dislike Waylynn, but now they have an actual asset in Antonia. Link to comment
cooksdelight December 18, 2014 Author Share December 18, 2014 They are running commercials with her in them, should start airing in January. 1 Link to comment
Kromm February 2, 2015 Share February 2, 2015 She also glammed herself up a little without compromising herself. She's doing a good job so far on this--her advice has seemed to be on the money each time, so far. 2 Link to comment
cooksdelight February 2, 2015 Author Share February 2, 2015 Antonia is a vast improvement over the other woman that they had last season. She knows first-hand what it takes to operate a restaurant, while I don't think the other woman did. 2 Link to comment
Katmai March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 This is my first season watching RS. I really have liked Antonia from her appearances on TC, except when she and Mike I. way over-did the "my Cuz" thing. She seems to be wasted here. She shows up to taste the food, reiterate Joe's or Tim's directions, then disappears. I was hoping she had more input to share. 1 Link to comment
Bella March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 Antonia seems to do a number of "hit and run" appearances on foodie shows, which makes me think she's mostly doing two things: promoting her brand, and keeping her TV connections alive. The brief appearances probably allow her time to focus on her own restaurants. While I agree that she could be better used here, I'm glad she's not turning into one of those chefs who's famous for being famous. 2 Link to comment
