And what they can't hide, they spin 🙄 9 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153510-s19e24-blessed-are-those-who-mourn/page/2/#findComment-8663285
BAForever May 18 Share May 18 Just watched, it's my Sunday guilty pleasure. TLC, you stunned me with your kind and gentle handling of Garrison. Janelle, you are strong and amazing. I admire how you can laugh and cry within seconds. Praying for continued healing. Meri and Christine, it's obvious you loved Garrison so much. Thank you for supporting Janelle. Kody, what a buzz kill your segments were. Yes, I am certain you are devastated by your son's death. Anxiety, depression and alcohol often are a perfect storm of tragedy. Maybe it's because you're a man and mourning is different, but Gabe's pain is palpable, yours seems like a weak shadow. 12 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153510-s19e24-blessed-are-those-who-mourn/page/2/#findComment-8665024
islandgal140 May 19 Share May 19 If I was ever in doubt of Kody's narcissism, this episode erased it. COMPLETELY. The sad part is that the brother-in-law eulogizing Gar, going out of his way to wear mismatched Hawaiian shirt and shorts and open with a Princess Bride quote, probably knows more about Gar than his own damn father. The one time Kody came out of this narc-ness to tell a story about Gar, it was wrong! Gabe had to tell us how Gar really got the bloody nose. Thank goodness for the brother-in-law. He "preached" a wonderful Garrison send off. I confess to the invisible munchkins appearing and cutting onions directly into my eyes, when he was getting choked up during the service. It was touching, paid homage to Gar and even managed to infuse some humor without being offensive or gauche. Could you imagine Kody doing it?!?! The one thing he did say at the service was self-serving and selfish. Basically Garrison came to him in a dream, sat on the bed in the house he wasn't allowed in during his life and told his dad, and in essence, Kody should not beat himself up about it, he was fine and Kody should stop listening to sad songs. WTF!>? Mitch is super talented. That wooden piece to hold the urn was gorgeous. I remember the stunning dining table he made for Christine. I wanted one and would drop $$ on it if he took orders, if weren't too expensive, which it looked. I guess Maddie was trying to be the adult in the room by saying she was sorry if she ever offended Robyn and her tenders, which I respect her for, but I am sure it was to no avail and just further gave Robyn a sense of satisfaction. Don't feed the beast whose appetite for victimhood and drama is bottomless. One giant glaring thing about Maddie in that scene, when referring to Kody, she didn't call him Dad. She referred to him by his first name, Kody. DAMN!!!!! OMG, during the fishing trip, I saw someone in a hat and accidentally mistook her for Christine. Ysabel is truly the spitting image of her mom. 2 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153510-s19e24-blessed-are-those-who-mourn/page/2/#findComment-8666107
