Sneak peek! 👀

‘NCIS: Origins’ Sneak Peek: Franks Reveals Tish’s Heartbreaking Connection to Case to Team (VIDEO)

Quote

Lala notices Franks staring off, distracted, and checks on him. He takes a moment, then asks for the name of their victim. After Gibbs tells him, Franks then stands up and reveals to him, Lala, and Randy, “The guy who killed Joan Lewis attacked Tish 11 months ago in a parking garage.” He continues, obviously emotional, “Now, she wouldn’t want you to know that about her, but I am telling you, and I hope she’ll forgive me for it. I’m telling you, because I need you to know everything in order to help me catch him.”

This was a powerful episode.

I really liked it AND am extremely grateful it was wrapped up in one episode and not dragged on endlessly for the rest of the season like original NCIS used to do at times.  Like when they screwed the character of Jenny over completely and made her look like she was totally unhinged in her endless revenge storyline.

I could see most of the people this episode.  Maybe they finally bought some decent lighting for the show.

It looked brighter in the bullpen. Glad that case is all wrapped up. And none of the bad guys died in a shootout or something.

But then shooting at a fleeing suspect is probably beyond the rules of engagement.

When Franks pulled Agent Dominguez aside to run point, he already signaled that he wasn't going to go Gibbs on their suspect. But show reasons gives us Gibbs to stop him after the case fell apart on the guy innocent of the Marine's murder when he stopped himself with justice for the rape of Tish

Franks is all emotion.

“It’s like a freight train busting through your head.”

Gibbs understands what Franks is going through. Lala makes the right call by sending Gibbs to talk some sense to Franks, before he does something that couldn’t be undone.

Cliff Wheeler getting all territorial about Franks contacting Agent Oakley  is just weird. Dude, grow up!

The hummingbird is finally flying away. I can understand why Tish is leaving. It’s hard to heal around someone like Franks who is too stubborn and passionate. He tends to make it all about him, revenge, justice etc. It can be suffocating. 💔

Dr. Tango is such a kind and empathetic uncle to Tish. I hope we can have an episode focusing on Dr. Tango in season 2. 🤞🏻

She was unhinged and the WORST Director. The character SUCKED. Maybe if they had cast a stronger actress.

I liked the character.  And the writers made her unhinged.  She never acted that way until they started the b-o-r-i-n-g (especially the endless Tony undercover dating the daughter) season-long plot from hell that never made any sense at all.

But NCIS writers tended to mis-write for women on the show a lot.  I will never forgive them for turning Ziva into a victim type near the end.

Let us hope the NCIS Origin writers are better at handling female characters.  The Tish story line seemed well done.  And Mary last week.  But the whole Lala thing could be a disaster waiting to happen.  We will see.
