Mike Bloom March 11, 2025 https://parade.com/tv/top-chef-22-destination-canada-last-chance-kitchen-twist-samuel-olayinka-ying-gao Quote This season will feature not one, but two Canadian chefs entering the game through Last Chance Kitchen. The goal of Samuel Olayinka and Ying Gao: Survive Colicchio's off-the-wall challenges, and impress him to survive. Then, once the time is right, they'll be able to earn their way onto the competition proper, joining the other cheftestants and putting themselves fully in the hunt for the title of Top Chef. marybennet March 12 Share March 12 (edited) Love The Dish with Kish and Last Chance Kitchen, but I like the latter as a place in fact for last chances. Bringing on a random person who was not on the show itself first was not a good part of last season for me (though that chef was talented), and I don’t think it’s going to be any better with there being two. Agreed. Put them in or don't. I don't get the interest in these weird shadow games. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152347-season-22-spoilers-and-spoiler-discussion/#findComment-8605177
Ancaster March 13 Share March 13 (edited) So we've had Top Scallop, Top Aguachile and others. Any guesses as to what the most over exposed dish/ingredient will be this season? CrazyInAlabama March 14 Share March 14 (edited) So good to see Nicole Gomes from World All Stars season. Dale is a nice addition too. I'm already tired of Anya mentioning she's from Russia, I got it the first time, and she keeps mentioning that. Congratulations to Vinnie, and winning immunity for next week. Mimi and Kat both deserved to be on the bottom, Mimi to Last Chance Kitchen. Any guesses as to what the most over exposed dish/ingredient will be this season? Top soup? Almost everyone made soup in the quickfire. That's my best guess, but even then...since soup is literally just food submerged in liquid, the category is so broad that it's not going to be anywhere near as bad as pasta in S15, or crudo in S13.
